Ive owned two bikes a 79 honda cb 400 and a 98 honda cbr 600 smokin joes edition. and I dumped the 400 and caused all kinds of unreparable scars on my body so be careful. They can get ya. as long as you always remember that the bike is smarter than you. the second you think you are smarter than the bike it will get ya. and always stay sober on 2 wheels... have fun...

I was kinda wondering that too. This one is bored and stroked to a 350 (according to the guy that has it) It has D&D racing engraved in the cylinder so im sure its got some good work done to it.. Id like to know how it will run down the road next to my banshee... I went to his house twice today and no one was home. Ill try again tomorrow if I have time if not monday. Id really like to get this thing especially for the money he's asking. plastic is mint... along with everything else on the quad actually...

I might have a chance to buy a tecate off a guy for $2500, It has tons of extras. all chrome, bored and stroked to a 350, aftermarket head, tubular extended chrome swingarm, durablue, renthal bars, holeshot mx on douglas .190 all the way around, with a set of 4-snow's on douglas .190, and a set of paddles on douglas also, mint plastics, Its nothing I want to ride I allready have a shee but I am thinking about tearing it appart and parting it out on ebay to make some cash . ya think it would be worth it??? I wish my dad wouldn't have washed the shee off when he got it home cause I would have liked to have taken a couple pics of that. I have never seen so much blood in my life. I have had over 250 stiches total since I was 14 years old. (10 years) and this is the most blood I have ever lost. My garrage still smells like there is a dear hanging in it cause the underside of my fender and exhaust still is covered with blood spatter... I'll try to get a pic of the leg when I change my bandage today. If the batteries in my digital camera will allow it, they are pretty dead... Anyway thanks for the concern I hope to be back on the seat in 2 weeks or so. I prolly will have trouble with the muscle since it was tore up pretty bad but the wound should be closed up good by 2 weeks...

Thanks for the support, Im just so happy that whatever hit me in the back of the legs didnt hit me in my back and tear into my kidney, lungs, liver, intestine, ribs, or even the back of my neck. It could have broken my back and I could have laid there and bled to death. I am just extremely thankful that I get a chance to learn from it...

I'll try and borrow a cap from a friend. I usually dont tough the level in the bottle it is usually in the middle and when I replace head gaskets I just fill the radiator. one time I did have the radiator cap off and everytime I would give it gas the coolant would flow over and then stop when it was just idaling. But that was like 2 or 3 head gaskets ago. Now another thing. It has only done this once since the last head gasket was put on Im gunna see if it keeps doing it or not. also when you take the head off and you have had a leak you can usually see where its leaking cause there is black from the exhause on the cylinder decks... Last time I changed one I couldn't tell where it was leaking but the time before that I could see where it was. I just piled it up yesterday and with 11 stiches in my leg I wont be on it for a couple weeks anyway... but when I get back on Ill see if I can get it to puke coolant again. Thanks for the input guys all help is appreciated!!!

Well I did it. I was hurrying and came into a corner wrong yesterday and went off into the tooleys at about 60mph. I hit the brakes hopeing to slow myself down before I hit trees and I hit a little pile of dirt and catapolted me over the bars. The shee went end over end and slammed down on the back of my legs. It tore a hole the size of my fist in my calf on one side. I got up and thought I was gunna walk away but when I pulled my pant leg up I was bleading worse than ive ever bled There was meat hanging right out of my leg. Ive been in sled accidents, motorcycle accidents, car accidents... and I have never seen blood like this. I put my hand over it and it squirted out around my fingers. I pulled the shee out of the bushes pulled my seat off (I keep my kicker under the seat cause I lost the guts for it and it wont stay on) and got my kicker. started the banshee and rode as fast as I could right up main street to the hospital sitting on my air filter. by the time I got there (5-6 min) I was ready to pass out. there was blood all up my fenders. so much on my handle bar I couldnt grab the clutch or even hang on, on one side. it was all over my frame and splattered up my silencers. After 3 hours and 11 stitches they let me go home. now im on all kinds of good pain killers, and its a good thing cause this sucker hurts. My other leg is one solid bruise but at least the skin wasn't gashed wide open on a good note there is just a couple little scratches on the shee. no bends or breaks in anything...

Good then I set it right up so your immature ass could understand.... no, your blaster won't win hahahahah like therail said. go to another site and ask an idiot and they will tell ya that their quad will win, if thats what you wanna hear... see ya...

Hey NYUK I talked to the wife last night about putting $200 more into the shee right now and she shot it down like an iraqie helicopter over fort drum... So Im gunna have to wait a couple months and put tires on her car first.. by the way what do you mean a pin hole in the cylinders??? like a hole through the sleve into the cooling system???? how can that happen??? I went out last night and did 4 or 5 different brake stands on dry pawement.. Smoke-be-rollin now that I know my new tires are on the way I will burn these old ones right off!! Love it SMOKE EM!!

That is why I havn't done this yet. I want to fix this prob. I had my head checked for warpage at a machine shop and they said it is perfectly fine. I think the machinest who shaved it knew what he was doing he has been in business for a long time and done many many of these heads. That dosn't mean he couldn't make a mistake but thats why I brought it back and they showed me that it was perfectly flat... Idk. I think im gunna try and get an aftermarket head this winter and put it on and see if I still get coolant out the overflow... If I do then that narrows it down to cylinder decking or impellar but The coolant flows good. I did a 45 second burnout on pavement yesterday (cause I just ordered new tires) and my temp guage went right up to 200 and I took off and as the air flowed through the radiator it poored hot air and cooled the motor right down within a mile. so she is flowing good. I think its gotta be cylinder decking or the head, even though they said the head is fine. If I can afford to get an aftermarket head this winter I will narrow it down if it still does it after that... DAMN!!!!
