Well I checked into it and If I read right the police interceptor puts out 239 hp. not overly impressive but should move the car allright. (Im buying mostly for the wife and baby anyway)

by the way banshee boy.. How do you like the kenda klaws on the back???? do you ride roads and if you do how do they hold up???? I had razrs and I went through them in 2 months with the road riding I do. I need a hard rubber compound tire... Thanks!!

What happened... You bought the dvx and then rode a shee and havn't been able to get rid of the hard on ever since right???? dont worry man I did the same thing. bought a warrior then rode a banshee should have ridden the shee before I ever spent money on a little 4 stroke. I think Im leaking tranny oil from the seal around the drive sproket shaft ( I have been getting drips in the back of the truck and finding oil under the drive sproket and splattered on the frame behind the drive sproket after just short rides). Is this common?? Do you think this is probly the place that the oil is comming from???? should I get the seal changed asap or will it hurt to run it like that for the rest of the season (2 months until I put it up for winter and that would be better time to do major repairs)???? and last question... how big of a job is it to fix this problem... sorry for all the Q's but any info is greatly appreciated. THANKS GUYS!!!

I am wondering if it would be worth it for myself and some friends (contractors) to get in the truck and head the 20 hour trip to florida to work for a couple weeks cleaning up the hurricane???? I would have to make $3000 a week to make it worth it. Ya think its worth packing up and going????? (12 hour days x 7 days a week x $35 per hour = $2940) I could make it worth it for that. Would we have 2 weeks of work????? or should we not even bother thinking about it???? It would be worth it if we had at least 2 weeks of work???? anyone???

any other opinions on my question?? I wanna know how much of a difference there is between a chevy 5.0 and a ford 4.6 My buddy had a 96 mustang with a 4.6 in it and it seemed fast as hell but I was just a junior in high school then so everything seemed fast... any more opinions

How will the crown vic with the 4.6 compare to a 5.0, 305 chevy motor found in some late 80's - late 90's camaros and caprice.

I went out today to race a kid that claims his quad will go over 100mph. I know my shee will hit around 90-92 beside a car (not accurately) finally got to race him today and smoked him. He has a twin motorcycle engine in a moto 4 frame. When we stopped he just said " wow that thing is fucking fast!!!!!!!!) I just love it. There isn't now and will never be anything like a shee LINE EM UP!!!!!

whow whow... I didn't want a ford v. chevy match. I just wanted to know if this X cop car with its 4.6 had any snot... if what was said is true (260hp) Then Im sure I will be happy. Although this has gotten very interesting... They only thing I can say is mustangs are nice but there is only one CORVETTE!! shit, Id buy a late 80's early 90's corvett with the 245 hp motor in it just to drive a corvette... shit hear I go again, Im sitting here eating doritos and drinking my 2nd 12 pack and on my way to ebay to bid on a vette... if protection is a major concern (more than weight savings) than you got a good set. Id say a bomb could go off under your quad and not scratch the engine cases or A arms...

Ive always hated ford , been a die hard GM guy but my monte carlo has cost me almost as much as my olds cutlas supreme did in repairs (tranny went in both, brakes every 8000 miles in the olds, electrical system in the monte. etc.). every little thing in the world has gone wrong with this thing . my dad has a 2003 silverado with 8800 miles (thats right 8800!!) and the front end fell right out of it. I broke down and bought a 1990 ranger at a state auction with 222,000 miles on it and it now has 239,000 and I havn't put a dime in it. gas and oil thats it. It uses about 1 quart of oil in between each oil change. I would take that thing across the country if I had to . I was leaving the bar the other day in the monte and now no tail lights . I checked every fuse in it and all are fine. so since the wife wants a 4 door im gunna try and pick up a used police cruiser at an upcommin auction. (sheriffs in my county are all over 50 years old. the cars are prolly driven up to 80mph twice in their carrear. not to mention that nothing ever happens up here in the boonies + you know they are top notch maintained) but anyway, what the hell I put in a bid on two of them today one 2000 and one 2002. both have 4.6 in em. hope its snotty . I know it will be faster than my monte, may not look as good, but blow its doors in (I found out police cruisers are faster than my monte the hard way, on the way home from a party in another town late at night one day)

idk... do a search in yahoo or sumthin. The first thing you should do is take off the stock snorkel and cut a large hole in the top of the air box, Then change your jets from 140/145 (stock) to 160/165 I did this to a buddies rappy and it made a hell of a difference, I was quite impressed with the extra revs and mid hp that it put out with just a simple jet change and sawzall...
