  3. When I get my cylenders back from Jeff at FAST I will basically have the same setup as you. I opted to stay with the stock crank though. I do the same type of riding as you, trails and drag. I wanted something that worked well for both. My mods will be 50 over stock stroke, dune/play port with 33 PWK's and pro circuits, K&N's. I'm going to stay with the milled head for now, but when I get the funds I'm going to a cool head. My guess would be 33-35's. Shoot me a PM in a couple weeks if I have it running I'll let you know how my 33's work out.

  11. I just bought some 33 PWK's. I'm just wondering if theres a way to still use the stock throttle cable or if I'm going to have to buy and aftermarket one? Looks to me like if there was a way to use the stock one the little stopper thingy on the end of the cable would have to be filed down to fit and even then the slide would be about 1/4 of the way up.... I'm also wondering if anyone has ever made their own intakes out of like radiator hose or something? Or is that just another one of my bad ideas?
  12. I just bought some 33 PWK's now I need an aftermarket throttle cable. Or someone can just explain to me how to make the stock one work, if it will? PM me with whatever you have. I also still need intakes on the front side of the carb too...
  13. Thanks for the tip Jeff, I would buy them from you in a heartbeat but when the fule pump went out on my truck that really screwed things up....put me on an even tighter budget than I was on. Oh well though, thats just life, I shot him a PM I'll let you know what happens.

    WTB intakes

    I bought some 33 PWK's now I need some intakes. I am also lookin for some clamp ons and outerwears. let me know what you have and shoot me a price.

  20. Doing a compression test when you get it all together will be your most accurate source. heres a link to give you and idea of what your lookin at, scroll to the bottom. compression chart
  21. Get and advanced timing plate, will cost you $35 bucks. Then you will also need a flywheel puller which will run you around 15 bucks.

  23. Trust me dajo, I had no plans to buy one. I was just browsin ebay and ran across one read the auction it almost sounded too good to be true. I was just curious if they were worth the money really. The price just seemed a little steep to me.
  24. Just wondering if the Dyna Tek CDI's are worth the money? How big of a gain do you really notice? Whats the best feature? Just chime in and give your $.02.
