  1. I lust took my head and cyliders off last night and i noticed LOTS of carbon on the top of the piston and in the exhaust and intake ports...... is there an easy (and safe) way to clean them off?
  2. I add slime to all my tires makes them kinda heavy but saves heartache on the long rides somthin to think about

I just got my shee a couple months ago and had a mechanic buddy working on it for me well......my (buddy) is now in the graybar hotel and i had to pick my shee up from his shop (CYCLE TECH) and it was in about a thousand pieces...... long story short.... he had it cause it wasn't running right and he was gonna clean out the carbs and dial them in for me anyways it came from the Oregon coast and theres sand everywhere I got my Clymers and am going to give it a try myself :baseball_bat:

  8. OK I figured out I have 260 mains man those little #s are hard to see after a few beers still don't know If thats the right size or not tried calling the dealership but they wern't any help

  10. thanks everyone I do have a clymers and i've my main jet but i can't find any numbers stamped on it Iwas curious because I don,t think i have the right size in but i don't know that either my alt is about 2000-2600 ft w/fmf gold series pipes k&n air flter w/ outerwears lid on the box any suggestions?
  11. thanks for the quick reply chase the only stamping ive found is on the needle jet which says 3456j0 (I think) please keep in mind i know nothing about carbs or shees for that matter...... am i even looking at the right jet? I don't know THANKS AGAIN
  12. ok guys I just ripped my stock carbs apart for the first time HOW do i tell what size jets i'm running? I've looked everywhere and can't see crap PLEASE HELP! ::
  13. Just use antifreeze don't mix it with milk or water or anything just straight antifreeze, the sweet smell is irresistable to a cat trust me it works great hide it behind a bush or somwhere that you know the cat goes to and your problems will be solved :baseball_nuke:

  18. I'm thinking on getting Albas front suspension I know they come +2 w/ elka shocks for about $895 I'm going to be doing much more trial riding than anything else and thought they would work out great does anybody know about this setup or have any other suggestions thanks aaron
