    My idler gear is worn out and I have been reading that you can change out the bushing. Where do i find a bushing or does anyone have a good gear they want to sell. $53 seems expensive for a new gear.

    That's all there is to it. Just make sure when putting it back together that one of the orings doesnt fall out and get pinched. I put a small line of grease in the channel to keep them in place.

    Anyone know an easy way to loosen up some threebond 1211. The previous owner of my bike used a whole tube on the reeds and spacers and now i cannot get them apart. I am afraid of breaking the reeds. Anything that would loosen it up? Heat?

    Yes, they already have the conversion done. I was just going to buy some bowls and swap the jetting. How much do you think i could get for them? Im am not sure what needle is in it and the current main jet is a 168. Thanks for all the help! This site sure makes things alot cheaper and painless.

    Hey all, i just bought a banshee that the previous owner tried to convert to alcohol and never got the jetting right. I wanna to convert back to race gas. Does anyone know approximately what the needle, main jet and pilot jet should be. I am 1,000 feet above sea level, 4 mil, 18cc domes, agressive dune port, K&N Pods, CPI big bore pipes, 34mm PJ's. THanks!

    take the cases back apart clean them really good and run a flat sanding stone over the surface to make sure that it is flat. Put the yamabond on and let completely dry before putting in fluid and starting. Worked for me!

    If the plastics are not glossy anymore use some soft scrub with bleach. It will whiten them up.

    Honestly i cannot remember. I dont think that you are going to see a huge gain with either. Get some Wiescos and port it. You will love it.

    I ran the vitos for a about a year and sold my banshee. It seemed to run strong when i sold it. I gave the pistons to my engine builder and had it ported to match. Ran like a striped a$$ ape. I have nothing against them so far.
