I've been bitten! I haven't even received my '06 Banshee yet, and I just purchased Elka Sport/Racing shocks. It's already rolling off the floor with intake/exhaust mods, but I just couldn't help myself. I spoke with Eric and he helped me with my decision. I'm using them with the stock length A-arms because I'm not interested in widening the stance due to the types of riding I'll do 98% of the time. They ran $1,110 with shipping and will be at my new house before I get there (2 weeks). Eric enlightened my on a new rear shock set-up which I figured I'd share for those of you interested. He's been testing it on/for Sheera (He-mans sister) and said it'll be available in approximately 1 month to the public. So if any1 is interested, check with Elka then. I guess I'll be one of the first customers to purchase it, but with limited seat-time on her I may not be able to give the best review of the product. I will have only a couple of weeks to ride on the stock rear.

WOW! I actually couldn't find the information either online. I only searched for 30 minutes, but that's about 28 minutes more than I usually need. I found numerous places where there are people to contact regarding the info.(collectors, engine restorers, etc.), but, like you, couldn't find it outright. Everything I found would have either required a phone call or an e-mail to obtain the specifications. Good luck and don't crush'em...restore'em!

By legal I meant the "local" tracks or the stateland up 33N. I have my dirtwheels packed away right now, so I don't have the riding places in front of me, but there are several riding areas within 30-40 minutes from us. I'll be running from 5-0 too in NJ as there're no legal riding areas in northern NJ. I'd have to go inot upstate NY to hit the nearest track.

GL with the sale. I would love to scoop up another trike, especially in running condition, but I've decided to go the Banshee route for now. My 1984 KXT 250 is in bad shape and needs restoring.

Hey people! Thought I'd say hello before getting into the swing. Some background: I've been perusing this site for about a month, and because I'm picking up a new Banshee in 2 weeks I couldn't wait any longer to bust my cherry. I'm moving from PA to NJ (no comments plz, as I already know I'm going in the wrong direction), so I'm treating myself to a new quad to ease the pain of moving back to New Jerksey. I sold my last street bike (VMAX) 2 years ago and decided to play in the dirt. I have a 1984 KXT Tecate 3 wheeler which I was going to have restored, but when I found out that '06 was the last year for Sheera, I had to buy one icon before restoring another. I originally called Alba Racing for a radical machine, but they haven't gotten back to me in weeks, so I reserved a retro (yellow/black) machine from my friend who is the manager at RT. 15 Yamaha. I'm going to have it roll of the showroom floor with a K&N filter, jetting and pipes. I have a long list of mods I'd like, but I've read here that this is a good start at increasing HP. I look forward to talking with you all (yous guys) and learning more about this awesome quad.
