I have a K&N Airfilter with Outerwear & the Pro-Flow adapter in perfect condition. I just removed it to go with boltons so I also have the airbox no lid with boots that attach to stock carbs. These are small & light in weight items so shipping is very inexpensive.. Also have stock tailight/brakelight. :thumbsup:

Quicksand +2+1's are really tough A Arms :thumbsup: get the MX ones with gussetts. Also, the powdercoat holds up well. I have scrapes & chips in other parts of the bike but not on those lower a arms.. they're still ship shape!! :thumbsup:

Right on, I went to Home Depot & asked for a plastic bit & told me there was no such thing! Damn basturds!! And I believed :: & took something else. Now I know. The rear Maier plastic is thicker so I think I give that Rotozip another shot! Thanks.

Just thought I'd rub it in. Last we talked Jeff asked about our temp, he said it was 12 degrees where he's at! Today was 85! :biggrin:

What bit did you use? I tried the Rotozip but it would melt the plastic.. Since it was summer we let the bike sit in the 100 degree temp which will soften the plastic. Sharp utility knife sliced it like butter!

Jeg's has these primers & paints in different colors. I got these paints at PAW, they sell top notch automotive stuff for Hot Rods! I did pick up some clear coat, thought I'd spray the pipes for easy cleaning but it's on 500 Degrees so I didn't spray. I used less than a can for each primer & finish.

Thanks guys. :thumbsup: I'll eventually take them in for a good Ceramic Coating that will last me for ever. I had to do something quick & this was the easiest fix before my Glamis trip. I'll let you know how they hold up thru the sandblasting out there :biggrin: I wouldn't mind chrome pipes, maybe Mybadbanshee would trade me since he's looking into blacks??

Oh.. the 06' YFZ now comes with dual pistons in the rear caliper :thumbsup: I know guys were using the TRX on the Banshee for the same reason, now can use YFZ!

So I'm looking into ditchin my airbox setup & going with individual air filters to bolt on my stock carbs. I've seen & know about K&N but F.A.S.T. has another brand that looks just like K&N. They have them listed as K&N Style Air Filters [i like the price too!!]. I need help in deciding one or the other. So is there a big difference between the two? Which do you guys suggest, What's good, What's bad? Anybody running these F.A.S.T. filters, How do you like them? I'm about 1200 ft above sea level.. I currently run the open lid airbox with K&N & Pro Flo adapter plate. I'll gladly trade that for a pair of bolt on K&N's.. I have stock carbs.
