I was going to mention that Loco! I've tried both and that MSR Raptor Shorty is the way to go. Three adjustments & it's a smoother pull over the ASV!

I cleaned mine up by swishing around gravel and acetone.. Starts breaking that up really quick! You can also get an old wire hanger.. Zig Zag that thing and throw it on the cordless screw gun! Worked fine for me!

You're right, prices did go up! And I wouldn't worry too much about the spark arrestors.. But attract the attention and they'll get you for anything possible! From my experience, any holiday weekend will get the dunes packed! Be carefull out there! BLM & Rangers are smashing down hard out there.. Make sure got your permits, registrations & stickers on your vehicles.. They're handing out tickets & towing vehicles out the dunes like no tomorrow!
