  1. Hello Tested compression again today with throttle fully opened. Only 90 PSI  I putten the longer threaded measuring thing in and still the same, engine was hot Sealevel Afterwards I put some 2-stroke oil in the cyl head and the compression raised only about 5 psi. And it starts first kick ALWAYS, strange isnt it? I unscrewed both plugs at a time and tested one side and then the other side, maybe I must leave the spark plug in the hole when i am testing the other one? WFG Frederick
  2. Hello I am looking for the ideal sprocket sizes for my bike. I know the standard size is 14/41t. I drive mainly roads and some trails so I need a good top speed. I got douglas red label with maxxis street tires. I don't now the sizes but the wheels are a lot smaller on the back than the standard rims. So i lost a lot of top speed. The maximum is about 70mph. I want to get to about 90 mph when possible. My shee is practicly OEM but I'm gonna have a Noss head with 20cc domes, a trinity stage IV exhaust, K&N pod's, right jets, dune port (probably) So what sprocket size do I need to get to that kind of top speed, (a loss in bottom in not important for me)? Thx for the answers Fred
  3. You asked a very smart question actually because I forgot to open the throttle :baseball_bat: Will do again today and post the readings Wfg Fred
  4. Hello It starts first kick. I am at sealevel. (maybe 180 foot or so) I bought a 90 dollar "made in USA" compression tester so I don't think that will give any fault readings. Will test again tomorrow, maybe I didn't turn the threads hard enough to seat well in the cyl head? Grtz Fred
  5. Hello Just bought a second hand banshee and from 2005, september so it's only a year old. The guy told me that he only drove 50 hrs with it. Now i have bought a compression tester today and tested my compression on a warmed up engine and I only measure 85PSi left and 90PSI right. It still runs real good, but it's my first shee so I have nothing compare it with. It start first kick and feels like it has enough compression. The engine is very clean , no oily gaskets etc. so probably my pistons and rings are worn. Is this possible after only 50 hrs or is the guy full of shit? What are the best pistons to buy? Will it be a big difference after I rebuild it? Wfg Fred
  6. Thx scott for the offer but I already shipped it to Jeff and he's forwading it to me. Grtz Fred

  8. Hey , Anybody know some nice graphic kits for a blue banshee? I looked at the http://www.hbombfilms.com/ website to the bombsquad graphic kit. Would it look nice on a blue shee? Also looked at tha alba graphics , I think the these are also very nice : http://store.albaaction.com/shop/gr-yaba-flame-eb.html Anyone got any better suggestions or other sites, examples to look at? Thx Fred

  16. Hey guys, I am looking to buy a Banshee here in Belgium. Now I found a nice one from june 2005, so it's quite new. It has some nice options : Renthal steering wheel Nerf Bars Nice rims FMF pipes The price is also high, about 8425 dollar :baseball_w00t: Thats 6600 Euros, but the ones from 2005 are the last ones with homologation so you can drive on the streets with it. So my question is, he claims the bike is from 2005 but it has some strange colors, is it possible that the bike is actually a 2005? Look And what kind of FMF pipes are those? Any good? WFG Frederick
  17. Yeah Jeff, I know :baseball_original: I just love America :baseball_w00t: and F.A.S.T. The prices here in Belgium are just too expensive. I even save Euro's when I pay shipping + tax afterwards. GRTZ Fred
  18. I have one on my YFZ. I think it work great. I need it here to drive on the roads so I don't get any speed tickets. If you configure it right , it will be very accurate, especially on road tires. But I have paid a lot more for it, 160 dollars here in Belgium without the mount. For the billet mount I had to pay another 160 dollar. GRTZ Fred
  19. I ride mostly on streets and some woods and trails. THX for all the answers, this forum is GREAT :baseball_w00t:
  20. Hello, I don't know waht bigger carbs to buy. I'm gonna have play/dune ported jugs from FAST. CPI inframe pipes. I already got a coolhead from NOSS with 20 cc domes. I'm gonna run pump gas 98 Octane. (I don't have my banshee yet but already buying stuff for it) So with this setup, will 28mm carbs like these make a big power increase : http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-NEW-Bansh...sspagenameZWDVW Or maybe 30mm Keihin Style : http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Banshee-30m...sspagenameZWD1V OR http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/30MM-D-slid...016165385QQrdZ1 D-slide, what's advantage or disadvantage to the ones above those? Or maybe bigger, Or maybe the 2to1 setup like this one : http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Trinity-Rac...016377219QQrdZ1 Or maybe bigger, what do you guys advice, what's the best pick for me? I maybe want to upgrade later, within 2 yrs or so to a cub cyl. . THX Fred
