  1. Ya dude janssen in a fn joke . When I had my ltz 400 i had to waite 3 weeks b4 i got my rev box that i orderd and then it was the wrong size it was for the 04 and older model and mine was an 05 and then they sent me the right one but it did not work and then on the third try they finally got it right. i will never buy anything from those dumbass's again.

Here is a list of my mods 1993 banshee on a 94 frame - welded an trued crank - Porting is 194 exhust and 126 intake - Toomey t-6's - +6 timing - weisco forged pistons - Boost bottle - head shaved 60 - 80 thousands cant remember exact - cylinders shaved 80 thousands - domes size is 19 cc and here is what I am currently going to do to it add 33 or 35 mm carbs and intake add vF-3's add F.A.S.T. clutch and baskett add or shlould i say replace crank seal (because of old clutch blew up and ripped the old one wich is why I am doing all this in the first place add either cpi or shear inframe drag pipe's and sell my T-6's cause every body keeps telling me that they are killing me with the porting I have. So wadda U guys think as far as small bore or big bore inframe drag pipes wich should I go with and what is the diffrence between them? Thanks for any and all input

Kick ass man thanks for the advise but I dont ride woods all the time i ride probably 30 percent woods so not a whole lot i just wanna be real fast too thats why I wanted to get something better than the T-5's Cause I also wanna be fast at the dunes too. I Dunno man What would you do exactly. I sure would like to know.
  5. Wow dude u just gave me over load. I dont wanna just Have a drag bike I also want a bike that I can ride throught the woods a lil bit a run on the dunes and run it on the track a lil bit also. So I guess what im getting at is I reaaly dont need a full drag porting? Or do you think what I have now will work fine? (my porting numbers are in my sig) oh and as far as squish or whatever no I oretty sure it is not a prob. and if it is what are some of the effects of it. sorry another question for ya 'dajogejr' How pricy is jeff's clutch basket and clutch's cause I am on a budget also how do I get ahold of him? and also How pricy are the shear's and can I get a decent set used? at a good price good price meaning 400 or under (i like the or under part better:) ) also Would a good set of 35 mm PWK work good for me cause i think thats what im guna get and hoping to gwet them for around 300 but I dunno you tell me> and thanks for you input man you seem like a cool dude.
  6. I am selling my Toomey T-6s (PM me if your interested in them) Because every body (on here anyway) Is telling me that I need to get diffrent pipes. Well i wanna go with Inframe drag pipes and I am thinking cpi because they seem to be a good pipe and they seem to be fairley reasonable price. Can you guys give a lil input as to what you think. Also if you have any for sale let me know. The reason I have not been on here in a while is because about a month ago I had my clutch go out on me. well it did not really go out on me it still moved but all the sudden I had oil comming out of my pipe (right side) and it started running like total shit so we took off the clutch cover and there was pieces of clutch all over the place and there it was a piece had got in my crankseal bearing and tore it all to hell. So I just let the mother sit in the garage the last nmonth cause i have been broke ne way. Until i went riding with my uncle this weekend and I seen 3 banshees that were just waxing some ass and it got the blood running again. So I am on a mission now this is what I plan on doing to it so far Take a look at the mods that I have now and tell me what you think. First he will have to fix the crank seal bearing of course then I am going to have a full drag port put on it ,as well as either 33mm or 35mm carbs perfer PWK's (unless somebody else has another suggestion) Inframe drag pipes Barnett clutch basket and barnett clutchs. (Let me know tif this is not enought clutch because I do not want to be doing this crap again because of a clutch breaking) Ok I appericate any and all help sorry so long just getting exited again

  16. Well that blow's one more question do I have to take off the front grill like the clymers says or can i just take out the bolts to drain it and take off the watter line that it say's to undo.

Well Hell I had several things that I was thinking about doing tso I thought that I would right them all down right now while I had it in my lil head. :baseball_w00t: ok I have the mods that are listed in my sig I just got the specific's from the guuy that built the engine today. I am wanting to get diffrent pipes I am not sure wich one's to get with my set up But I also want you to keep in mind that I am going to be putting on 35mm carbs and getting a full drag porting also wanting to make it a 4mm stroker with long rods a lil later as well and I want a pipe that will work well with what I have now and well with what I am going to do. Ok the other question I have is that I am Going to take off the clutch cover so i can adjust the clutch mechanism because I dont think that my clutch is not fully disengaging. The clymers manuel say's that I have to drain the coolant b4 I take it off :baseball_wibble:. Do I really have to do that because it sounds like an aweful lot of work to do all that just to change the tranny oil and adjust the clutch mechanism. Please let me know I will be doing it tomarrow evening and would like some advise. I am probably going to be a by the book (clymer's) guy just because I have never worked on wheeler's b4 ( i had a 4 poke and took it to the stealership if anything was wrong with it) but i want to say hey i built that or i fixed that and do something with my own to hands,if ya know what i mean. I mean I sell cars and also help run an internet business called ecarmail.com so I like to get my hands dirty when i get home anyway thnks for the replies guy's and gal's.

But I am just the type of person that has to see a price by whatever it is that i am looking at. that way i dont wast my time looking at something that i cannot afford or dont wanna pay too much for. (mabye because i am in the car business) Just the way i am :shrug:

  24. HMMMM... That was weird I just went out and started it and it was running fine this time. I let it sit for about an hour and a half and now it runs fine. must have and a piece of debrit in the carb or something :shrug:
