  8. My motor is a passion 4mill 12port with dual 35mmpwks. the motor runs great, its just the throttle is super stiff. after like 10min on the bike i get arm pump in my right arm b/c the throttle is so stiff. is there anyway to make it easier to push, i am seriously considering going to a 2in1 38mm carb.

  12. hey guys, i am selling my shee which i spent this past summer completely rebuilding starting with a brand new black powder coat frame from yamaha. I am selling it because i hardly ride it and i would like to possibly get back on a motocross bike. I started the rebuild her back in may and finished it in mid august. the quad underwent a complete tear down and rebuild on a brand new frame. this bike is in absolute perfect working order with absolutly no problems. It is extremely fast and runs flawlessly. I have only had it out once since i finished it in august, so the motor is barely even broken in. i would say the entire quad has a total of 5-7hrs on it max. LIST OF MODS: passion 4mill 12 port motor noss head with custom domes dual 35mm pwk's boss billit intake v-force 3's toomey t-5 pipes with toomey silencers ricky stator adj. timing plate renthal chain and sprockets dura blue x-33 axle with billit hubs dura blue axle housing wave rear rotor front and rear streamline brake lines janssen +2+1 mx-tech a arms works dual rate front shocks fasst flexx bars ajust on fly clutch lever under the seat hida key all brand new bearing, bushings, tie rod ends ac front bumper ac rear grad bar i think i about got it all, but i could have forgot a few small things overall this is a great banshee and it runs like a spotted a$$ ape! i am asking $5200, but its negotiable and i am also willing to trade for a newer model yz250f, kx250f, or cr250f motocross bike. also, i am not interested in parting it out and if i have no luck on the site will place it on ebay.
  13. hey, i just got my bike back together and i need some help with the jetting. i am at sea level, and the motor is a 4mill passion 12port, with dual 35mm pwks, +4 timing advance, noss head, k&n pods with boss intake with vp c-12 fuel. i was wandering if any of you guys can give me some helpful suggestions as to where my jetting needs to be?
  14. jim said it will definatly make more power with twins. i have dual 35mm pwk's on it right now, but the throttle is pretty stiff to the point that after riding it for about 10min i start to get pretty bad arm pump in my thumb and forearm. could it be that they are stiff because the carbs are brand new? will they loosen up?
  15. the motor is a 4 mill passion 12 port. do you think a 38mm would be enough to feed it?
  16. hey guys, i was curious to see what is the biggest single carb you can get for the banshee. i've seen and heard of the 38mm but is there anything bigger?
  17. you could definatly run through a brick wall with that thing!
  18. depends on how much compression you make and how much the head is milled. i doubt it would hurt to run race gas.
  19. on my new motor i took it off because of the air filters. i am like you, my cr125 didn't have one so screw it. i just ran the hose down the front of the frame.
  20. i will take the billet water pump cover for 30. sent you a pm
  21. i went to install my streamline +2 brake lines tonight, and i am unsure on how to set it up. the stock had the line from the front lever then it split into those to metal tubing lines. the streamline kit didn't come with anything like those metal tubing lines. it came with the line from the lever which goes into the brake line split bracket and then two long lines that thread onto the braket where the lines break in two. when trying to install the new streamline bracket the stock bolt that came on the old bracket that separates the lines in two was too big. also when i found a bolt to fit the streamline brake line spliter bracket it seemed to be very crammed up and didn't really fit. i guess my question is what do i need to do to get these line on there. do i need to somehow use those stock metal brake line tubes or what?
  22. here is the tool i made for the steering stem bearing holder, you mine as well get a new bearing while your at it, but i made this tool using a simple bolt and two nuts from and local hardware store, and welded the nuts to the bolt so it wouldn't break loose. welding the nuts is not required as long as you can keep the nuts tight on the bolt. using this tool made installing the steering stem bearing and holder a breeze. i am currently in the same process as you right now, i switched all of my stuff over from an old frame to a new one except i am using a whole lot of new parts. i am hoping to get it all done by this weekend. you don't need any special tools. just make sure you lable and separate all the bolts so you remember where they go. most importantly take your time and have fun with it, and make sure you torque everything to the right specs. good luck, pm me if you have any questions. heres a pic of the steering stem tool, and my progress. -kyle ps you always end up spending more moeny than you plan :baseball_bat: pic of the tool my bike progress
