just wondering what size carbs should be used on the 421 4 mill cub setup.. i have pj 34's and ive heard they are to small, but i know a fella who is using 30's and loves it but i know it is starved but any input would be appreciated.. thanks.....

yeah i jsut sold my trail/mx ported cylinders, cpcustoms did mine and they were the bomb!!! jsut wanted more power like a cub setup you all know how it is... but yes cp did mine for 350 and they ran awesome from bottom and all the way to a hard ass pulling top, hope this helps....

i had craig at cpcustoms put an insert in one of my holes, and it will last as long as the cylinders... but heli-coils work because i have some in mine as well.... but if you can find those inserts that would be your best bet.... contact cpcustoms.com and he can fix your problems or just simply go with a heli-coil, but you also have a chance to rip them out if you over tighten them.... but good luck hope this helped....

i have a very nice and clean 409 big bore cylinders that have been mx/dune port by cpcustoms. and everything you would need comes with it, head that has been cut and everything for this set up, only have been on one ride and around the neighborhood, they run very strong and have tons of power but just lookin for something different, ask lethaface about these cylinders he is a member on here and he will tell you how good they run and how well maintained the whole bike is not jsut the motor, bu any way im looking for a cub set up of any stroke/bore, and i will throw in some cash also to trade for, let me know what you have... thanks.. and Merry Christmas...

looking for a cub set up,... either 4mil long rod or even just stoke stroke, good shape and good price... i also have a very nice set up that is mx poted and has a 409 big bore kit in it, very nice top end just lookin for a little more you know how it is.. let me know about any cub cylinders, thanks... and have a merry Christmas, and new year..... :beer:

just go ahead a do the porting while the motor is tore down.. save the headaches... if the porter makes a nik in the cylinders he may have to bore them again,, he will have to hone the cylinders after the port job so imo go ahead and get the porting done now. you will absolutely love it... hope this helps.....

yeah dude do what big red said, i had the same problem and i had brand spankin new plugs in mine gapped and everything and the beast wouldn't start... could not figure it out and then when i was about to give up i told my buddy to put in some old plugs that had been lying around adn sure enough the thing started on the first kick..... who would've thought that brand new plugs were junk... so yeah just becasue you check everything by a manual or somethng doesn't mean that its working, if you are getting a weak spark you prob wont be able to start the motor.... you need a good strong consistant spark.... hope that helps...good luck

they are awesome on bottom all the way to the hard pulling top end.... without a longer swingarm it pulls up righ when you change gears and give it gas... very powerful....

just wondering if anyone would be interested in a very nice set of 409 bb cylinders that have been ported by CPCUSTOMS. set comes with pistons and head also that has been cut and rechambered for the big pistons.. top end has been on one ride and are very very strong running cylinders..... let me know because im wanting to go to a cub set up... the cylinders have a mx/dune port job and with a +4 swinger and will still pull a wheelie.... let me know, open for trades also.....

make sure that all the bolts and the heads of them arent stripped!!!! learned from experiance .. and also look how clean it is and if any rust or anything in that matter.. the rest is just common sense, like compression and leaks and all that good stuff... good luck and let us know how it goes..... :beer:

yeah it works but it is really tight and looks like shit.... dont want any stretch in it , it needs to have some slack....

like title says, just got a +4 and need an extended brake line.. let me know what you ve got....
