hey guys i got the arrows on my clutch arm and case to line up and my clutch grabs nice but i still got a loud noise comin from the side of my motor. anybody got ne ideas what it might be? or how to quiet it down? BUMP

i serached and searched and didn't come up with much. so his is mty question. i put a new barnett clutch and it's awful noisy. it works fine but is just loud. is the chattering just a sign of my basket wearing out and is it ok to ride it or should i worry about it and park her?

i'd say replace the gear. straigt or not u got peace of mind. no reason to half ass it. good luck with it man let us kno wat u do n how it turns out

i've seen them and know what your talking about. looks like a good idea depending on ur application. all that depends on where and how u ride but i just plan on buying an outerwear for my K&N. the lid ain't a bad idea tho. it sure beats drilling holes in it to vent it

nightrider has some good comments and input. but it's not as good as SANDSTAR's lol. it all sems to boil down to preference. i myself run amsoil and am happy with it. when i rip my motor apart after the summer for a rebuild i'll decide what to do. remember 1 thing tho. deposits and such can be better or worse with a synthetic or non or a semi. but HOW U RIDE is whas determines how much or how little. correct me if i'm wrong. maybe thats why theres such mixed results. my 2 cents.
