    Newer CR250

Cool, good to hear, did those needles end up working out for ya? The only reason I want a 250 is we do a lot of tight trails, logging roads, powerline cuts and fields, so every once in a while I will open the bike up and it would be nice to have some more top end too. Do the 125s have powervalves? Thats one of the big reasons Ive always like the CR250s, the PV gives them some nasty low end grunt.

I never rode a 500 in the woods, and I'm not a big dirt biker, but the 250s I had were a handful. I'm only 5'6" and like 140lbs, so I could barely stand the bike up. I have 0 trouble with my Banshee now that its setup for woods though. Either way, I'm open, really Ill take any newer 250 for the right price and in good shape. Did you ever get those carbs setup? If not lemme know, I'll buy them back from ya, I really miss them on my bike, and I think I was damn close setting them up. Jay

Actually, Ive only ever owned CRs as big bikes. Ive ridden a lot of other stuff, but wasn't crazy about them, Ive been dying to get back on a CR250. A guy near me has a sweet ass CR500 for sale, cheap too, but I'm npo sure about that for a trail bike.

Anybody got one for sale near NJ, I have cash in hand, needs to be in good shape with no problems let me know, couldnt find anything on craigslist so I figured Id give this a shot. Thanks!!!!
  5. Mine are leaking out of the threads in the t-fitting. I've never had a lot of luck trying to seal up brake line fittings with any kind of loctite or tape. No matter what I use the fluid ends up eating through it and leaking again. For the $60 a new, hoepfully better, set would cost, Id rather do that and never have to worry about it. If anyone has any ideas for sealing the threads though, lemme know.
  6. Hey, what's up? I was wondering what everyone was running for SS front lines. I definately want the ones that have a single cable, down to a splitter, not the one where you have to stack the fittings at the front res. I have a set now, that I bought used from a member on here, and they recently started leaking at the T connector, not sure whats wrong with it, but they looked pretty dingy when I picked them up anyway. Anyway, just wondering what you guys were all using. Lemme know!!
  7. This was posted a while back in the images section. I like it a lot though, I'd definately put one in my garage to toy around on.

  9. Youve got to be shiting me!!!!!!! You guys really don't run boost bottles? Biggest power gain for the money. Period.
  10. They tested these kits in Dirt Wheels, a WHILE back on a Warrior and Banshee, hey said the Banshee pulled damn decent, but, the tracks are a lot narrower then standard snowmbile tracks, so they bog down in the powder. If the price is right, it could be cheaper then a snowmobile.
  11. All his bikes are in pieces....
