I wouldnt..... I always keep a few spares. If you do, do a compression test and a leakdown test, if they work out, then you should be fine. Also make sure it doesnt ooze coolant either.

Bump, ran this bike yesterday, and it was strong, great shape!!!!

They will work, however a stock stator usually only powers about a 35 watt bulb. I doubt it will be any brighter, although you might get a little bit.

250 for both sounds really steep if its just porting. Also try RB Racing, he sold port work on e-bay as well as here, and does some nice work. I used Jeff @ FAST for my stuff, and it turned out awesome, but he isn't cheap though.

This is the last of my part out that I can't seem to get rid of. If you can pick either of these up locally it's a good deal. 1996 Frame, looking to get 150 OBO left side bolts have been retapped for standard (have bolts) and left side heel guard mount is busted off. Subframe and steering hoop are straight, NOTHING else wrong with it. Includes stem (a little tweaked) and gas tank with pet cock for FREE. I also have a set of rough black plastics you can have with it, and any mountin hardware you might want. All included. Has a clear VIN in NJDMV search. Set of 4 tires on aluminum rims, looking to get 40 OBO The front rims are ITP rims, with worn Holeshots. The rims are in good shape, with a few bumps here and there but still hold air fine. The tires will most likely have to be replaced though. The rear rims are stock Yamaha rims, and look to be in good shape too. Same deal, hold air just fine, but have a few bumps here and there. They have some meaty 22" mud tires on them, which are still good. I have tons more pics of the frames, PM me if you want to deal on this stuff.

What kind of riding are you doing? If its mostly trails, it might be worth it. Its hard to say too, because it has alot to do with preference. I run mostly trails, fields, and woods with both my bikes, and I still prefer the duals. The good thing with the 2 into 1 is they hold their resale value so if you get it and dont like it, you can always get back about what you paid for it.
