I'll be there the 16th-19th with about 10 of us. Bringin' the 50th Anniversary 700 though, banshee is pissin' oil out of the counter shaft. Usually stay in the state park. I'll be driving a blue Nissan Frontier from Nebraska. Parked in front of a 40' fifth wheel trailer. No the Nissan won't be pullin the fifth wheel. See ya'll there. Looks like Jetmech is the loser going the wrong weekend. hahaha

I'll be down there on the 11th for the weekend should be about 6 of us. Not sure what I'm driving or riding yet but I'll let ya know before I leave. We usually stay in the state park camp sites.
-
Well I guess I'm the only one going now Jetmech broken his wrist riding. Duner440 hope to see you there I guess no one else is going. I drive a green F-150 with Nebraska plates and ride a plain blue shee. I'll be with a couple Z's, 450r, predator, and a kodiak. Probably gonna camp down toward the south end.
-
Not 100% sure where we'll be camping but it will be down around the main entrance somewhere. But it won't be in the LSPS camping spots, state park spots work just fine for me.

Nah outside of new a-arms everything should just bolt right up. Unless someone else has had problems with this before. I mean they don't make pipes for 87-90 and 91-06 they're all the same.

Jetmech and myself are going to Little Sahara, Oklahoma on April 26-29th if anyone else is gonna be down there let us know and we'll try to hook up. I'm meeting some friends of mine down there and Jetmech got his bike back together after his wreck at the BHQ ride. So he's ready to rock and roll again. Anyway talk to ya'll later

I bought new works front shocks and had my rear shock rebuilt by works though HVC cycle in Lincoln, NE.(hvccycle.com) He was ok to deal with. Works actually messed up my rear shock and had to send it back to them to redo it. They jammed the compression knob and it wouldn't turn, but they did fix it for free.

Actually Engine Ice does have freeze protection to like -23 or -26 I think.

Ok I've got an 89 shee, with stock bore and stroke, it has T6s, a coolhead with 20cc domes, 280 main jets, the carbs are setup the way toomey says to, it has K&N pods, and Vforce 3 reeds. The problem is when you are cruising along in 2nd or 3rd just below the powerband the right cylinder starts to enter the powerband before the left. I had this problem once before on my 99 and the carb slides were not adjusted the same. I've already checked that on this one. It also appears that the left pipe has more blueing than the right. Is it running leaner? If so how do you fix that? But maybe it is something else I'm not sure, hence the reason I'm on here. Let me know what ya think.

Finally buitl the cub, now it will not turn off

Check the wiring make sure it is all tight, but if that don't work, check the switch on the handle bars. After I put my '89 back together with new bars the contacts in the switch assembly had come out of their holder and wasn't making contact. -
Tried the new cable didn't do anything. Also tried lubing the old one first.

Ok guys. I have an '89 shee that I bought about two years ago. The previous owner said that he had put a new heavy duty clutch in it right before I bought it. The problem is the clutch pull is veery stiff compared to my '99. I am curious if it is something I can fix by putting in a new clutch and springs or if there something else I should be looking for. Maybe something that is more serious. The pull has never gotten any harder but it is definently not any easier.

Just go for it. The pipes are totally worth the plunge.
