what condition is the powdercoating in on the hubs? how old is it? i got dibs on the axle if everything checks out

Na we went to georges..It was crazy he had like 200 people there, there was a line of people at the gate like 20 trucks deep that he turned down..people have been camping out there all weekend long.. My boy took my bike for a rip and hit every puddle he could find, he is used to riddin a craptor he dont now any better. now i gotta take evrything apart, he is goin to get a hefty bill if she dont run tom..lol

Whats up guys i was out riding today, is started raining and get muddy and wet fast.. I do not run a airlid, i hit some water and the bike died, it would fire back up but wouldnt run right.. what do you guys recommend i do from here and what caused this? Im thinkin 1- change oil 2- new plugs 3- swap air filters 4- clean carbs any other ideas, and do you think i caused any damage? thanks

i heard that with the rpm axles that the sprocket or brake hubs have to be pressed on, is this true? My brother has one on his 250r and its true in his case.

I have ASR a-arms on my bike, they are okay nothing special, i did bend some stuff and i gave mike a call and had them replaced free of charge.. I also have front g-series works shocks and i had the rear rebuilt by works, called a heart transplant, set up for my weight and riding style and I love the rear shocks it a night and day differnce and i believe its was only like $350 with a new spring aswell.. good luck dude

I bought one about 2 yrs ago, didnt put it on for a 1 yr bc the bike was being built, i recently had to have it welded bc i crank where the shock linkage mounts, it cracked on bought sides basically all the way through, i was on a trip in west virgina and was luckily to have it mig welded by a old timer over there.. I ride in new jersey and pa with no major jumpin and i do not think that it should have crazked like this.. I also have no way of getting in touch with him if anyone would like to help me out here, with a email address or something.. overall the swingarm looks nice, chrome is also very nice but not very strong in my opinion.. also mind you that my bike has only been riding about 15-20 times since the swingarm was installed, 75% of the times was in sand..

So what is a indy banshee? I have never heard of one. Even though george's sucks, i may be there on sunday..a big group of us just got back from hatfield mccoy in West virginia and it was fuckin awesome, like 200miles of crazy trails..

I kno man, i hear ya there, there are sooo many dam clamps and rubbers to worry about leaking, ripping and what not.. i do run across some water and nasty mud, even though i go around as much as i can i dont want to take the chance with pods, i have tried them and im extra nervous with them on.. I am real concerned about my drop in compression though, and im leaving for a trip on wednesday..

you run a outerwear and then put the pantie hose over the outwear aswell?

I run a k&n air filter..I never used to run a outerwear, bought it, used it for 3-4 rides and havent ran it since... does the outerwear help out alot? Dragbanshee- yea its wasnt that bad, the guy worked on the bike for acouple of hours, rebuilt my carbs bc they where leaking alittle and only charged my $300.. but i had a stator for him, unless it would have been like another 150 for the part.. But my concern now is the loss in compression, he said that my air filter was pretty clogged and that shit was getting in the motor. so would this cause a drop like this?

So guys i need some input here.. My bike has had a steady 150 psi since it was built like 6 months ago by Jim@passion.. I always seem to find sand and little shit in my airbox and boots where it connects to the carbs.. My compression is now at like 120psi, is this from sand and dirt getting in there? i run airbox with no lid, can you guys please tell me what to do to keep this shit out or is it impossible.. and when i wash the bike i always feel like water is getting in the motor from the airbox.. please guys tell me why the compression has dropped like this..

Well thought that i would share, i was having problems with the shee, it was only firing on 1 cylinder.. only the left cylinder was getting hot..pretty much tried everything that i could think of until i got real tired and ran out of patience.. swapped coil, spark plug caps, plugs, cdi , reeds etc....... brought it to a guy around here and he swapped out the stator and BANG, 1 kicked fired right up... So just alittle heads up if your bike isnt firing right check your stator and make sure it all good.. I mean mine is the original from 2000 so i have no compliants... thanks guys for helping me also..

Like it says my stator went bad and im using my buddies spare for now.. Let me kno what you have.. Must fit a 2000 banshee

Hey guys would a bad stator make you bike only fire on one cylinder? Sorry to hear about your bad luck at the track but luckily you had a spare...Since ive been on this site i have heard nothing but bad things about them..I kno ill never go that route for sure...
