  5. they were legal, tags and all it was when i was 13 (26 now) in the Michigan UP. IIRC, the turkey was ~18lbs. seems like it has been forever  it didnt take very long for the kill, they were all over the place, in the dozens. i used my Grandpas Ithaca 12g pump. i dont recall what the buck weighed, it wasnt very big/old and had a small rack. (similar too what the guy posted with the baby in the pic) i do know my brother was gone for more then 24hrs, before he got it. said he just sat on his ass the whole time waiting for the oppurtunity. he used a rifle. had some great Venison sausage, chili, jerky etc., great stuff! it does take time/patience, i'll give you that. i know certain types of hunting require tremendous amount of skill and knowledge. but 95% of hunting involves sitting around quietly, waiting for the oppurtunity, calling out every once in a while and thats about it. patience and a good shot is about all you need to be successful.
  6. i've never seen one of those  lol i'm with 'csrmel' on this, i've been hunting once and killed a wild turkey. my brother has killed a buck. i didnt think it took much skill and he said the same. we ate both. the rush was definately there tho! population and menace killing is OK in my book but i dont get it as a sport for trophy
  7. they do the same here. the real good stuff is when Sangamon County (where i live) Sheriff Neil Williamson gets drunk at a bar, decides too drive home and wraps his truck around a utility pole! guess what? he got off scott free.

EDIT: N/M, you have no motor in it lol how much longer then stock are those shocks? what did you use underneath the dust caps? the only thing i didnt like about the dust caps on the side that gets trimmed is they rub and are really tight into the weld on the arm
