it can`t be masked, nickel, copper and chrome all take different temperature baths and electric current.every part has to be clean, polished then submeged in each step for a period of time.i suggest you get yours polished.chroming is not for cylinders.

it is possible, but how practical? the sleeves would get plated also, as will the intake transfers and exhuast ports.if it were a show bike and never going to be run it would look nice. but you would be adding metal where you don t want it.as for the heat ,i m sure it would hold in more.
