i would go 1 degree at a time. 4 to 7 is a big jump in heat. for nj trails 7 seems a bit much.go slow, better to ease up to it checking plugs. than a hole in your piston.

a boost bottle or a balance tube are not needed. i ran billet intakes on my play bike for years. a boost bottle is jewelry. some say it clears up some mythicalogical flat spot somewhere.never noticed any gain or loss from one or without one. if your bike won`t start without it, you have other issues.i have done so many different motor configurations it`s not funny. all of the significant ones i ran involved no spot for a crossover tube or boost bottle.billet intakes with one less thing to get in my way.
