  1. Damn, Ellison I cant believe that LT450 got beat by a stock banshee that suzuki suppose to be fast, I picked up a new shifter today so I am ready to ride. Me and my boy are down for riding this weekend. I will contact you friday or saturday to see waz up. Those rocket pipes look and sound nice on your Banshee, I want to look into getting a set of those

  6. I was running the 280 main and 25 pilots a couple of sundays ago and it was about 60-70 degrees outside and it ran fine. I have 1turn on the air screw. Yes the bike runs good unitll I get into higher gears, and its catching the power band but at WOT its starts bogging a little and back firing some. How do I adjust the needle clip?????????????
  7. Yes my compression is perfect I just rebuild the bike not even a month ago. It starts in the first kick. I live in New Jersey my elevation is 13 feet, the temp is between 40 and 50 degrees. I cleaned the carbs and noticed that one of my main jets was a 290 instead of a 280 so I replaced it with a 280 jet so now they both are the same. Its running better but still backfiring a little bit, but not much and i looked at the plugs and they were black (fouled out), I was thinking maybe from the carb cleaner that I sprayed in the carbs did that. Both pipes are popping fine and it doesnt hesitate at all at take off. Please help me?????????????
  8. I am trying to rejet my banshee because it is not running properly. When I get to full throttle it seems to bog out a little. My mods are FMF fatty's,+4 timing advance, Boyseen Reeds, Stock Carbs (280 mains, 25 Pilots), 15 tooth front sprocket, 41 back sprocket,Tors are removed, Bored .40 over wiesco pistons. It was runnig good last week then this week started running bad like it was just loading up. Please let me know where to start with the jetting or should I leave it the same and just adjust and clean them out??????????

  13. First time ridng it on the street today with new rebuild, both cylinders are firing when i Hit the throttle. It runs great, but not at idle, it is popping but not consistantly only when I hit throttle it pops consistantly.
  14. I just got my 1994 Banshee up and running. When at idle the right side has barely any smoke coming out, but when I hit the throttle it evens up and fires like the left. I was racing my friend and at the end my bike was spitting fire out of the right silencer. When I looked inside the right silencer it was fire glowing and smoking real bad (Blue Colored Smoke). I dont know whats wrong, but it still runs great when I ride it and it starts on first kick with no problem, has spark and compression is excellent. Could it be Rich Jetting or is the Packing in my Silencer no good. Please Let Me Know What To Do???????????   15. The Banshee Is running again and better than ever. Well my carbs needed to be rejeted and my wires had a short in it. Also some things had to be unplugged on the wire harness. The Banshee is firing on both cylinders and running good. Thanx to everyone who gave there input on helping me, I really appreciate it.
  16. Checked Reeds and they were not broken. I believe that it was the left crankseal also, I havent openend the crankcase yet. When I spark carb cleaner down there it doesn rev up it stays the same?????
  17. I have installed a brand new top-end with a 40 over bore. The bike starts on first kick, but left cylinder is still running horrible. When I starve the left carb for gas by pinching the left carb gas line the bike runs good. It seems as the cylinder is being flooded by gas which is killing my spark. I get spark when I have the plug out so I know it isnt electrical and when I swap the plugs no change???????????????
  18. My bike was running good before this happened and the TORS were already removed. When I start it a thick cloud of white smoke comes out of the left side exhaust but the right side is normal. Could the coolant be leaking into the cylinder causing the lose of spark on that cylinder????? Could I even have a worn crankcase seal????????????
  19. Yes I am using the same size jest from one side to another. I am going to get the cylinders bored and change all my head gaskets, and change my crank seals also and see what happens, If that doesnt work at least I will have a new top end haha. But nah I guess I would have to take it to the dealership which is my last resort cause they expensive as hell. My bike has been down for 2months now and I wanna ride so bad. If you have any more advice please let me know????????????

  21. Ok I have installed a new stator, wiring harness, cleaned and adjusted carbs, new CDI box, new spark plugs, new coil. Still no help, but when I starve the left cylinder for gas by pinching the gas hose to the left cylinder it runs good. My compression was at 90lbs, so I took apart the top-end and will be replacing it this week with a Wiesco piston kit. The pistons that came out didnt have any scratches or scares on them and the cylinder look good also. i just cant figure whats going on. When I took off my head my right side was slightly wet with gas and left side was completely dry (where the domes are). When I change spark plug boots from side to side the problems stays to left no matter what??????????
  22. I dont know how to do a Leak Down Test. Can you please explain to me what to do and what to expect to happen while doing the test?????? I also have installed all new wiring and a CDI box and the problem went away for a second then came right back. I am at curtains with this thing. I dont want to take to the dealer but thats what I am gonna have to do soon, unless othe alternatives. PLease give me some more advice ????????????
  23. I checked my compression 2 days ago and both were at 120lbs then I checked it again yesterday and it read 90lbs, I will check it again and see what happens. I dont know if its from all the gas thats fluiding the cylinder b/c it should change from day to day without me riding it. The bike starts on first kick, before the recent problem the bike ran flawless and strong. I just cant figure it out and I would hate to take it to the dealer and get raped by them.
  24. OK will a 1999 Harness fit a 1995 CDI box ??????????????
  25. OK I will try that, but I just installed new reeds and a new reed cage and no change but I will swap them out and see what happens.
