If you live in jersey and wanna ride you have to make the trip to PA in order to enjoy a risk free day. Jersey trully sucks and every chance I get I get on the street and rip it up before the cops come. Making the trip to PA turns into atleast $150 day once you get gas and food.

That sucks . I live in NJ and have never visited that spot. Everywhere in jersey is getting shut down by cops, which it maks it tough to even enjoy owning a banshee or any quad at that. I think I am gonna have to by a street bike to enjoy riding.

I never found out what exactly was my problem, so I changed every electrical part on my bike and upgraded everything to a 2004 electrics. Once I did that the problem went away and now I have excellent strong spark and my bike starts up first kick everytime.

Hey guys would the degree key have anything to do with the spark once its warmed up???

I have only cut the wires to the key and tied them together. I unpluged the on/off kill switch completely. Tors wires are still there but taped up into the harness. Everything else is in tact and not been cut.

I unplugged my kill switch. so now I just shut my bike off by using my clutch

I have put a new harness on it, but I have not looked into the voltage regulator or the flywheel but the flywheel has never been dropped

The stator is the regular 100watt. I tried three different CDI's to make sure that wasnt my problem.

No, I havent dropped the flywheel or hit it with a hammer

I have a 1990 Banshee that is having some problems electrically. The bike will start when its cold, but once it heats up and you shut it off it will not have anymore spark until you let it sit for a while. I replaced the stator with a brand new ricky stator and adjustable timing plate set at +4. I have interchanged out 3 CDI boxes and it still does the same thing (NO SPARK). I replaced the whole wiring harness with a fresh one, removed the key and the on/off switch, and installed a new coil with new spark plug boots, and nothing changed. I had the topend redone and bored .20 over 2days ago because of low compression and still nothing has changed. I also sanded down all the ground contacts on the frame and still has the same NO SPARK issues once it warmed up. Please help me someone, because this bike is freakin pissing me off and I want to smash it. My mods are listed below: New Wiseco Topend .20 over with 0hrs on it Stock Carbs 280 main 25pilot, Needle on 3rd clip, Air screw 1.5 turns out T6 pipes Prodesign Filter Setup TORS removed +4 timing advance

Hey guysi fixed it. The problem was that my flaots were out of adjustment and starving the bike for gas. Also I had to rejet to 280mains, 25pilot, needle 4th clip down and the plugs look great and it runs smooth now. Thanks, alot for your help.

It idles fine, but boggs out when I snap the throttle to rev the motor. So I guess that would be rpm. But when I pull the choke out it revs out cleanly. Could my floats have anything to do with it?

I have adjusted the air screws so many times. i just took it for a test ride and I revs out fine and clean when I have the choke pulled out. When I push the choke back in a rev it boggs out.

I think it could be my floats, I have checked them but dont know how to adjust them accurately. My bike isnt dumping gas anymore, its just this problem I am having. My current jetting right now is 310mains, 25pilots, 3rd clip on the needle, 1.5 turns on airscrew, and I have stock carbs with TORS removed. My needle was on the 4th clip down but i adjusted it to the 3rd clip and still no difference.
