So you like to ride huh? To BAD!
Too Many Toys replied to enFORCER's topic in General Banshee Discussion
sandstar, From the sounds of your story that is pretty shitty. Just don't put every person that owns a 4-wheeler in that category. -
Maybe we can all agree that others are going to have a different point of view on this topic and stop bashing each other (myself included). We all come to this site because it has alot of information on a topic that we all love. I have met alot of friends on this site and I am not a big fan of creating enemies based upon their beliefs.
-
I completely understand because I was thinking the same think when I posted it. I didn't want to come across like some kid saying "Well he did it first". But unfortunately that is the way it came across.

I haven't been a member of this site for very long. But I have to say that if I have a question or I am looking for a specific part, this is the place to come. Every member on here seems to be very informative on banshees. I don't agree with the opinions of some others on the site and obviously there are going to be pissing matches every now and then in any open forum. But just because someone doesn't agree with another persons point of view, doesn't mean the site has gone to shit. This is a great site. Keep up the good work!!

Give me a break man. He's bitching because someone called him a jackass. He's 28 get over it. Thats pretty petty. Anyway I edited my post. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings rocketboy.
-
I guess you don't read your own posts. You piped up with the dummy comment first. My little neighbor kids run around calling each other dummies. This is just like you. Throw the first stone and then bitch when someone hits with one of their own. You must have voted for Kerry you are on both sides of the fence. Who said the polls were fake?

Any engine builder will tell you to do some other mods before running alky. It doesn't work well with stock carbs. -
Nope!! Go play with your puppets
-
Thats your problem rocketBOY you are still playing with puppets. The Chinese are not Christian and are rarely our allies on issues. Yet they CURRENTLY own and manage ports in the U.S.. Do you understand this is not in the past. I know this may come as a shock to you. But as you do some research prepared to be shocked. And as for me being the dummy that voted for him, keep in mind that you are the minority.

It sounds to me that this thread is more about Bush and his approval rating than the topic at hand.
-
Here is the source of my ambivalence. What exactly is the principle which the Administration has violated here? Are we supposed to be assuming that anything or anyone connected to the Middle East is more likely to pose a threat of terrorism than those who aren't connected to the Middle East, and thereby avoid anything related to the Middle East when it comes to sensitive contracts? Or is the concern specific to this Middle Eastern country -- that we ought to be assuming that anyone with connections to the UAE poses a greater threat of terrorism than those who don't have such connections? Isn't that the sort of profiling that most people have agreed is improper? These are real questions, not rhetorical ones. And for those of you drooling with anticipation over the potential this issue has for doing some serious political damage, with almost all Republicans lined up with Democrats, who is this really going to hurt? After accusing Bush for several years of engaging in unnecessary violence and excessive aggression against Arab countries and individual terrorist suspects, is the idea now to accuse him of failing to sufficiently appreciate the terrorist threat posed by Arabs, or that he is too considerate of notions of political correctness at the expense of worrying about our security? I'm open to being convinced one way or the other on this issue. I just can't say that I'm that scandalized or excited yet
-
Please keep in mind that these are not the only ports in the U.S.. China and many other countries governments run ports in the U.S. currently as well. I am not saying that we should completely go full speed ahead with the UAE. I think we need to really think it through and consider every angle before making such a big decision. I just am not that quick to blame Bush for everything that has happend, ie: hurricane katrina, 9-11 and outsourcing services.
-
Out of everything that you mentioned none of it is unique to the Bush administration. I never said ratings don't mean anything I simply stated that ratings flecutate with every president. I do support Bush and if you do not then you are the minority because if I remember right Bush won the election. Or maybe your opinion is just changing like the wind.
-
Rocketboy-Approval ratings go up and down like the our gas prices. It's mainly because of the indecisive like yourself who change their mind with the wind. You want to have world peace but then at the same time you want to stereotype every individual or company that is not from the U.S.. I don't know why you can't get it through your head that the security companies for the ports are still the same companies. Bush isn't putting Osama bin Laden in charge of security at the ports. toxicated- A company in another country has been running the ports for quite some time with out a problem. This is not new since the Bush administration started, it has been going on for years. The reason why outsourcing is so popular is because us as consumers want the lowest possible prices. That is not the governments fault. Do you negotiate the best price when you buy a car? Or do you pay top dollar for everything regardless of quality? Quit blaming the govenrment for the owner of your company trying to make more money by having supplies made overseas. Clients are happy with the best prices whether you make it or some sweat shop in China. Sad but true. None of that is the governments fault.

Exactly!! It sounds like these people built their homes in the middle of Glamis and expect people not to ride around them. I think they need a hobby . I am sure there are the few riders that are careless. Thats the goup screwing it up for therest of us. -
i tried building a bike to do both. It doesn't work out all that well. So I just built to instead. One for duning and one for hillshooting
