If you read my last couple posts i have simmered down. His initial post rubbed me the wrong way and I said that. He has taken care of it by apologizing to the right people. I wasn't trying to come across as some hard ass hiding behind his computer and talking shit. I just thought it was out of line so I spoke my mind. I would do the same thing to someones face. Those damn parking breaks will get you every time. If its not that then leave the choke on for a little longer. My brothers shee is really cold blooded and has to really warm up before you can rev it. Try feathering the throttle real good to get the rpm's up to warm it up. I'm in Utah and its pretty cold right now so we have to do that everytime we fire them up.

I wouldn't recommend running Alky until you have more mods done to your bike like these other guys have mentioned. What kind of pipes do you have? Maybe go to a set of inframe drag pipes. I am assuming you must race alot to even consider running alky? I would definitely have the cylinders ported first and advance the timing. Then some bigger carbs, better reeds, extend your swingarm. After that if you still want to run alky maybe consider a cub top end. I would switch to alky after you have done everything and gas is still not cutting it. just my 02

Exactly what he said. Check the compression and see where you stand. That should give you a good idea. The only thing I can think of that you could do is maybe have it ported while you have the top end off. Other than that it sounds like you are in good shape.

This may sound stupid but I have had it heppen before. Have you checked to see if fuel is getting to the carbs. My tank had clog in the line right before the valve. I blew it out with an air hose and it fired right up. Good luck!! Or you could just call Bob Saget and ask him whats wrong!! LMAO Damn Bob, he's always breakin shit.

Exactly!! You have to decide what kind of riding style you are going to do and then go with that port setup. If you are going to have it ported make sure you check around and talk to alot of people. There are some great people out there that really know what they are doing when it comes to porting. I have never had Eric Gorr port any of my stuff but he sure is a big name when it comes to porting, so he must be doing something right.

The HQ definitely needs a how to section. I hate reading the damn clymer manual unless its a last resort. I would rather see it done first hand like this. It also depends on what you are looking to spend. Some builders build the big engines (10mm-20mm) and can create huge power with them. Others can make your 350 run like a bad out of hell for alot cheaper. Just check around because all the builders mentioned are great builders but find one that will build what you want.
