  1. yeah the outlaw is unique but its still the same old predator motor with differntt gearing.
  2. Im jsut wondering what everyone thinks of the new Lt-r450 from suzuki. Im jsut reading the march issue of DirtWheels and they have alot of good stuff to say about the bike power wise. they had a 450R at the track with it and suposidly it smoked it repeaditly. I mean we all know already that its still not gonna beat a modified shee at the strip . Theres an interview with Jeremiah Jones and he says it will put levery other bike out there to shame, but he is a suzuki rider so i wouldnt go by what he says . I havnt had a problem yet with beating 450r's and yfz 450's but do you think this new 450 will give us a better run for are money or will it jsut be another 4stroke.

Well in a dragrace it comes down to 95% percent rider and 5% bike so i think it depands mostly on the rider but assuming both riders where equal and both bikes had traction i think the YFZ will come out on top in stock form that is. YFZ's are no joke, they fly.But add the same mods to both bikes IE exhaust and filter and the banshee wil come out on top...
  4. no, the bike hasnt been rode in any water. I never really checked to see if it was low on coolant before i drianed it to put the cltuch in .

Ok well il start off buy saying i just replaced the clutch in my shee that is only 3 months old and it had no clutch abuse, one day it jsut started to slip alot so i adjusted it by the manual with no luck..I replaced it and it now works fine..I dont understand why it went bad so fast in a new machine, but when i changed it the oil was also grey and kind of milky. the oil had been changed a couple times prior to this.Does it sound like maybe the water pump seal is bad and getting collant in the oil and maybe thats what ruined the clutch? , Iv heard antifreeze can ruin the fibers and i dont want that to happen to the new one..also that last few times iv been out the bike seemed to smoke wildly out of the right side at high rpm and right after backing off the throttle from high rpm but i didnt really notice if it was white smoke or not.The bike has always smoked evenly..can the water pump seal cause anitfreeze to get in to the cylcinders and oil some how? does anybody have any ideas? PS. the bike runs perfectly if thats helps any

Hey...im fairly new to this form and did a search but didnt realy find what i want.I know no one can tell me exaclty what my jetting should be but im jsut wondering what a good starting point for my new mods are...i put on fmf fattys with powercore 2 silencers and removed airbox and put on k&n pod filters with outerwear...Our weather has been pretty mess up latey so the temp ouside is like -10 to +10 celcius..i was thinking of starting with maybe 330's ?
  8. I have no doubt that the price of the bike new and all the parts he has installed might ad up to 12 k when they where new but he must know thats its only worth like 30% of that price now...he cant really expect to egt all the money back that he put in

Ok so i went riding today and the bike was running great then i started to notice s small power loss in the 5 and 6 gear range and then it started to get worse throughout the day..When i shift to 5th gear its like i let off the throttle or something is slipping , the motor sounds fine and is reved up high but the bike just stops pulling at 5th..i also notcied on pavement in first and second gear the front of the bike wouldnt come up, it usually does. So is somthing is my transmission slipping , maybe the clutch or is it a motor problem.. i did notice though that it was smoking alot out of the right pipe and barley any out of the left even at a high rpm , it usually has even smoke on both sides.i know the bieks not lean because i did a plug chop yesterday and the plugs were good..so does anyone know what the problem might be??
  11. You are deffenlty lean...if you stay with 240s you will burn up your motor...i had 240's in mine with just a a k&n and when it got colder i had to go to 260 and it runs perfect..so you having pipes and k&n must be really lean...run it and do a plug chop... plugs dont lie
