Im staying out of this one. But I will say Jim is a very busy dude. if you cant get ahold of him most of the time he will call you back. Trust me I have been running his motors for years they are fairly easy to tune and he has always kept me on top vs way bigger motors.
Everyone Knows who ports my stuff I would guess. Jim from passion racing. He has all keep me on top with a much smaller motor, so no complaints very good builder/guy to deal with
what helps out is try having your shifter height right below the yamaha on your stator cover..
make sure you shift shaft is adjusted right on the shift star also if its off just a little it makes it a pain to shift
