  1. Shitty pic..
  2. Ok, I got a new carb because the old one was stripped on the top, and the old TORS was stripped too. I replaced all the parts in the carb fine but the new TORS didn't come with a needle or anything so I have to take it off of the old one. My problem is that I can't seem to get it off. Is there a screw somewhere that I can't see? oh and btw, it is like gummed up with black gunk so I can't see much inside. Thanks
  3. I doubt it will ever be hard to find parts for it.
  4. Holy SHIT Brian, thats a nice shee...
  5. I need some stock carbs, shipped to Canada. Thanks
  6. Maybe I'm just behind in the times... but I just found this today 07 banshee
  7. click here just wondering if you guys like it?
  8. Someone should suggest this to yamaha, but I doubt they would do it because they are trying to get rid of 2 strokes, right? I was thinking they could come back in a few years with a banshee 500. They could use the RZ500 engine, only problem I see is too heavy, its a 4 cylinder. The bike weighs 400lbs. They could put new designed banshee plastic on it and put good suspension on it like the yfz. Maybe this is just a horrible idea, but I just wanted to see what everyone thinks...?
  9. Vancouver Island BC! anyone from out west here?
  10. FIXED!!! I took apart my left carb to find that my choke tube was disconnected because when I took the right carb off the first time I forgot to reconnect it. I cleaned the left carb, there was a bit of dirt in there, and put it back together with a clean airfilter and it fired up first kick. Thanks to all
  11. There IS gas going to the carbs, and the jets are NOT plugged. There is gas in the bowl, because when I take off the carbs gas dumps out of it. So maybe a leak you say... where could it be? All my boots are tight I'm pretty sure.
  12. My quad will not run because there isn't any gas getting into the cylinder. I am getting gas into my carbs, and my jets are not plugged, and my reeds are fine. But my plugs are dry! You can put gas down the spark plug hole and it runs until its out of gas. The only thing that I can think of is that my rings are screwed and its not sucking the gas in because I don't have enough compression. So I will do a compression test if I can find someone with a tester, but besides that I am clueless. Any ideas anyone? I don't wanna take it to the stealership and pay a fortune for them to pay for something that I can fix. Thanks
  13. Now it won't run at all! We dumped gas down the cylinder and it runs, and there IS gas going into the carb, so maybe G needs to come over again and help take off those carbs Maybe stuck reeds or something?
  14. Parking break! check it to make sure it is off, as well as tight, make sure it has no play if you wiggle it.
  15. My gas IS mixed and I put new spark plugs in with no difference.
  16. Took off the carbs and there is motor oil in them!! Does anyone know how this could have possibly happened I know it is motor oil, and I know I could not have mixed tranny oil into my gas for a FACT, because I had no tranny oil handy, only castor... My airfilter is really dirty, but I am just cleaning it now so I will see if that helps. My thoughts were maybe it couldn't suck from the airfilter, so it sucked from somewhere else, and that would be the tranny? Is there a breather hose or something that it could have sucked out of? thanks...
  17. They were missing? as in you didn't put them back in, or as in they just dissapeared
  18. When I take out my plug after it stops running, it is soaked. My dad said it looks and smells like oil, and not the mixing kind He thinks that maybe the oil ring could be shot? How can I test for this? It was broken in proporly, and I have been using castor since new.
  19. I took off the airfilter and pushed the throttle and they both moved at the same time, that means they're ok right.
  20. Almost sounds like the same problem as me Does the right side run with the choke on?
  21. Oh and I checked the cross over tube. I took it off and there was nothing blocking it, and it was put on right.
  22. I just got some new plugs for it, and it made no difference, but I did make a discovery! It only happens when the choke is not on, so as soon as i push in the choke it starts crapping out, no matter how good you rev it, so its not the idle. There are some smart people on here I know you can help
