I'm thinking that if I would do the switch I would buy some alky carbs what is the best way to go? what size? What brand? If you want to know my set up it's in my sig.(The Bitch)What is purge I've herd but not really sure.
-
what oil ratio do you mix alky at ? When you guys drag drag race at events do they allow alky in the same class as a gas quad?
-
What would the compression need to be at for alky . right now I'm at 185psi and run strait 110 fuel? will the alky damage my reed cages and reeds. what else can be expected from Alky the good and bad? I do know that it will run cooler on alky but the jetting is more of a headache then gas. If a guy was to run the e85 I would need to drop my comp. way down right? I am guessing I would also need to change my jets to a bigger size right? Thanks

Hope it's not junk. Here is the issue I have A Override 1-5 neutral down non-dunable and upon inspecting it I noticed that my small gear cluster that my third gear(counting all 6) from the tread side has a small chip on 1 tooth it is a little less then a 1/4 of the width of the tooth. it shifted o.k prior to inspection. can this be fixed by welding or can I replce the gear and if I replace this gear can it be replaced with a stock one or will it need to come from a override. When I look at this gear nothing looks like it been cut or modded like some of the others? Hope some of you shee freaks can help me out!

Is there any thing differnt when installing a override vs stock tranny?
-
Is the WSR dunable 1-5 override the best? I know they stand behind there work! If not then who builds the best?

I run 180psi in my drag shee but I have talked with two other drag shee racers at the track and one says he's at 130psi and the other one is at 145psi and both these guys run stronger then me most of the time. my times on a 300ft sand track is in the 4.4-4.6 range I am told that when you run over 150psi you start losing top end is this true? This info will help when building my new motor and tuning my other shee.

thanks guys what is the ideal compression for drag racing
-
not sure what my port height is. Are you saying that its a good idea to run the plate with stock pistons( pin height) over stroker pistons with out a plate?
-
I just have a few ?'s about long rods I have just got a new banshee and and thinking about building a 2nd drag shee but need to keep it under 350cc. I also have a 2ND set of A&S ported cylinders for a stock stroke crank .I would like to know if I put a +5 long rod in it will this affect my port timing if yes can I run a stroker plate with stock pistons to make the port timing right ?
-
 Just want an idea what is the ideal compression for top end power? What I am asking is where should my banshee be at as far as psi to get the most out of it for 300ft drag racing. The mod's are below in my sig. 300ft Drag Racing is all shee is used 4

They are stock cylinders with L.A sleeve's with what LOOKS like ST.JOE'S OR ST.JOHNS RACING on the side of the cylinders as far as the stroke u had posted how to do this let me get this right I put the piston and cylinders back on and then find tdc and bdc and mark it and then take the cylinder back off and check thie distance in between the marks I only have a stock lower end with no stock piston's all I have are 795's. Any Idea what a stock or 4mm stroker distance will read at? Sorry no CAM so I have no way to get pic's -

I HAVE A EXTRA SET OF PISTONS 4 MY OTHER MOTOR WHICH HAS 795'S I COMPARED THEM AND THE PISTON PIN HEIGHT IS THE SAME. MAYBE IT IS ONLY A LONG ROD? -
Do boost ports make more power or what are they 4 ?
