  1. Well, I'm currently on my 3rd new roller that I bought today. Something ain't right. It just gets chewed up, doesn't seem to want to roll. It rolls when you are just putting around, but when I get on the gas it just looks like a dog just chewed it up. The parts guy says the ones he gave me match the part numbers for the bike and he gave me new hardware for them. This is what I got: the bolt, washer, small sleeve, large sleeve and nut. I put them on according to the part diagram and it doesn't work. The roller has a 1/4" hole through it with what looks to be a 7/8" recess on one side. Is this the right one? I saw the ones from UPP, getting them next, but just for temp reason, this one has to work for now.
  2. I had something of a similar problem running real hot. If your impeller looks like billet, its aftermarket. Stockers are some kind of plastic. I ended up just getting a new Fluidyne radiator, (it was time for a new one anyway) and ran Engine Ice as coolant, and haven't had a heat problem since. I was also a little lean in the jetting as well, got that changed. If you found some gunk in the rad, I'd pull off the coolant hose on the rt side of the bike and start running water through it to flush it out to see what else could be there, just my $0.02.
  3. Where are you located? A friend of mine just got his stolen, so he's looking for a replacement. I'll let him know so he can figure out what he wants to make for an offer. I'm located near Syracuse NY.
  4. I'm looking at running straight C12. The guy at VP tells me to keep my current jetting, but going up at least 3 sizes on the mains to be safe, then jet accordingly. Does this sound right? (no experience with jetting) The other problem is that my bike is currently being fixed at the shop so I don't have access to current jet settings. Anybody have a starting point that I can work with? 409 big bore/ stroker combo, +4 timing, Pro Circuits pipes, stock carbs, stock airbox. Compression: ???
  5. I live outside of Syracuse NY, and two days ago it was 2.65. Yesterday it was 3.00. Now its 3.19!!!! Farther north has it even worse: it was 3.19 TWO DAYS AGO!!!!
  6. I've been told that I need to run a mix of 93/110 at 32:1. Another shop told me that I can run straight 93 at 32:1. I currently run the first mix with excellent results. Vito's said I can run the 93, but I'd have to redo the ignition back to stock timing, which I really don't want to do. What makes it necessary to run race fuel? I'd personally like to run a full 110 mix if I can.(I can get a 55 gal. drum for 250.00) I have the 404 kit, 5mm stroker and a +4 ignition advance from Vito's, but I bought the bike used and I don't have a compression tester, so I don't know what the comp is.
  7. When I first realized the problem, there was zero clutch action. I rode it around the house after I got back. I was basically powershifting around the house. Right now you can take the push lever with your hand and it will move with very little effort, even with the spring on top. It has a brand new Hinson pressure plate, basket, and a DP clutch setup in it. I'll take a look at the rod and ball. Thanks for the help and I will update on the fix.
  8. Hello everyone, I'm new here and to the Banshee. Just got done riding a little while ago and realized my clutch lever had no tension to it. Just pull it in, and it stays there. Everything looks to be in order, no broken cable or anything visibly missing compared to my friend's Banshee. I looked at the online parts diagrams, and it shows the parts to the push lever assembly, but it doesn't show where it hooks into on the bottom. Am I missing something?
