i run 20x10x10 8 paddles on mine with t6s k@n pods and a couple other mods and they work great .haulers hook up great and slide good to would never go to a v paddle again
-
alot of that depends on elevation also i have t6s v force3reeds and k@npods also and added noss head with 20cc domes and ricky stator adjustable timing plate set at +4 degrees. i contacted mr noss before i purchased the head he was realy help full i ride between 2500 and 5000ft elevation he said race gas was not needed at this elevation but at sea level it would be i also talked to my builder he said the same thing . they both actualy said i could run 19cc but i stayed with the 20s just to be safe.

im buying a banshee what should i look to be wrong
scooter replied to shees ripin's topic in General Banshee Discussion
if your realy serious and just have too have it and dont care about losing the money then i would take the bike to a local dealer or builder that you trust and have them check it out i would think a good yamaha mechanic could do a compression check and go over the bike pretty good for a hour or 2 in labor and make the other guy foot the bill to make up the difference . like the others said theres many things too look for and if you have never owned a banshee it would be worth having someone that has the experiance look it over could save you lots of dollars down the road -
haulers all the way i have the same set up as climb any hill you want and its a awsome set up
-
stock fronts will work fine but you will like a sand front tire much better imo
-
check modquad or cascade both have a good selection

would it be better to do the timing plate first? its the cheapest of the two mods and do the head latter when i get some more cash. also what kind of gains can i expect from just the timing plate at +4 degrees better low end? from what ive read on here its a great mod for the money . is there any brand that is better than the other ? are some junk any input would be great thanks

what are the chances of a crank failing on
scooter replied to 98 shee mx's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
your " warranty" is only as good as your dealer my dealer has coverd many repairs that were out of warranty that other dealers would not have covered . if you have a good dealer support him and he will take care of you . theres no excuse for a shitty dealer or poor service take your buisness some where else. i drove past 3 yamaha dealers 3 hr drive to a dealer that wanted my buisness and would do it again some people care about there customers others just want to screw them and make the fast buck -
THANKS MAN IM INTERESTED IN HOW IT TURNS OUT ILL BE DOING MINE SOON

i have decided to go with the noss cool head in either 19cc or 20cc domes i ride at 2500 to 5000 ft above sea level i have toomey t6s v force 3 reeds and k@n pod filters engine is stock no porting yet . can i go with plus 4 timing with this compression and run on 92 octane? i here the timing advance is a good bang for the buck i would like to do both these mods at the same time . thanks for any help and does anyone have the same set up what kind of gains can i expect thanks again
