i have had the same experiance and would like to say that its probaly because the dealer is too cheap to hire a good partsman. they hire kids for 6 bucks a hr and throw them behind the counter with no training and say theres the books parts are in the back get after it.im sure anyone would agree if you find a parts guy that knows his shit he is very helpfull but you get what you pay for.

the factory is not required to make parts any more not for ten years or even one year that is a bad rumor

thanks for the help guys. i found the klank its coming from the right side axle when i put it up on jack stands i found it right away it moves a tiny bit side too side like maybe a 32/ of a inch when you grab the wheels and move them hubs are fine checked them too . so i tightened the axle nuts they wernt realy loose but i did any way and it made no difference is there supposed to be some play or not? am iworried about nothing its just i never noticed it before and the bike has very low hrs

i have a 05 banshee with maybe 10 hrs on it . it makes a metal kind of klank sound when you move it side to side like grabbing on the grab bar and pushing never noticed it before. checked everything lug nuts axle nuts rotor chain tension everything seams fine. went riding rode fine cant seam to hear it while riding . cleaned it up then heard it again when putting it in the garage is this a normal sound or did i mis something id like to fix it before i screw something up or just not worry if its normal thanks for any help

i have the t6 kit you are asking about on mine and im very happy with it the perfomance and quality are great.as far as the porting issue im not sure on that ive talked to some that say the t5s respond better but ive benn told you can port for the t6 as well if your builder knows what pipe you have

whats the normal amout a banshee should spit out mine barfs a few drops after riding a bit most lands down buy the lower a arms is this normal? it hasnt got on my pipes at alll just notice a couple small drops of green every once and a while

get alpinestars best boots you can get no break in required put them on and ride i love mine so does my son well worth the money

thanks for the fast replys. ice man hes 13 about 115lbs hes been riding for a long time this would be his 4th quad im looking at a 03 with pipes nerfs and some other small mods comes with paddles too i cant find out how much he wants for it till tommarrow hes at a xmas parts tonight i was at the yamaha dealer today looking at a new one and the owner gave me this guys number he has two the same hes selling cause his kids have out grown them one was there and it looked pretty clean oh yeah its has a 240 kit on it also dealer said he installed it for him last summmer and has low hrs on it

looking to up grade my youngest boy to one of these was wondering if any body has them and what they think of them they seem like a pretty good kid quad . we mostley ride sand ,what can i expect to pay for a clean used one? thanks for any inupt you can give

yes its a bass lake not far from quail.im not sure how the fishing is. yeah you can bring sand rails there there were two there saturday. weather is good now but its going to turn winter pretty quick

banshee x they may be right there might be hook ups on the ( lake side)i go for the sand and there is no hook ups on the sand side kind of screwy once you get in you go left for the lake and right for the dunes but you can get to the lake on the sand side to camp and swim its only like a 100 yards away if that but no hook ups the lake side is only a few miles away but i dont know if you can ride from there too the dunes. i would bring paddles for sure there are trails if you want to ride them but theres enough sand you dont have too you wont hurt your paddles thats all i run there but you can ride with out them just not as fun and if your on a shee you want them. sorry but i dont know what a mini motorcycle rail is but there are lots of bikes that ride there too. i would guess its like many other dunes its ranges from very easy dunes to very steep
