Rode thursday only--rained all day friday---Had a blast--talk about sweet weather for December--coming from a guy with a sled too. May go one more time before rebuild time. Been 7 years since I did anything with the top end(new pistons/rings)--been .10 over since I bought the shee in 2002 Felt like I was kicking over a blaster at first. Time to check compression

I will be going next week if I do not go up north to the UP snowmobiling. 50/50 right now. Would be going to Badlands Thursday Friday or Saturday and staying at least one night at a place we have stayed at before --I will be home New Years night due to have plans locally. Should know by Christmas with what I'm doing. I took the week off work hoping to snowmobile but not looking so good as of now----I will be ripping some kind of 2-stroke next week!!!!!

I had a bad plug boot do that before----left side pipe was cold and bike was missing bad--right pipe was hot as usual-----If its a bad winter like last year you should do ok as a heating guy-LOL!!!!!

As the saying goes "good guys" lose out but KARMA IS A BITCH!!! Man I would hate ride that bike knowing all the drama that is behind it stolen or not--yikes!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got work--hoping next year will be slower with work so I can go riding more--Only went twice this year---dammit!!!! Looks like decent weather this weekend. Hey shadow---you and the old lady ever hit up turkey bay on Kentucky lake for riding and camping?

he has adjusted the screw both ways in and out--has the arrows lining up on the case etc... he has ran out of ideas but we will look at it in a few weeks--just seeing if he missing something etc.. Any other ideas besides adjustment---thanks again for your suggestions------only makes sense its not adjusted but Im not there to verify---I will tell him try again---he knows it not rocket science but can't get it.

Cousin just installed new clutch with a new cable--he's tried adjusting it every which way-same issue--no clutch and bike keeps moving w/clutch held--could it be something in the trans maybe-goes thourgh the gears ok but no clutch--he says when he adjusted it everytime he can see the plate move, etc...--He's bringing it home in a few weeks and will see whats up. any thoughts

I got away with out sparkies for about 4 years at silver lake and then one DNR guy would not let me in because there was no forest approved stamp on the silencer. I used to run wire through the stinger when they would check with a stick but this guy looked in my pipe with a flash light and that was that. Bought the turbines at D.A.R. racing next door and have never had a problem since. Mine stuck past the grab bar a 1/2 inch and would hit if you were doing wheelies and tailed it so I got a six pack rack. I couldn't tell any power difference and like the six pack rack (PRM brand)

My cousin is out of town working and brought the quad with and he said hes having clutch issues--he said it will ludge or die when put it gear--first or second gear--if he gets it going and comes to a stop and its in gear with the clutch lever pulled it will die---I told him probably needs adjusting--he said the ball is not welded and he can see the clutch plate move when he pulls the clutch??? Hes taken it apart and readjusted it according to the yamaha book and clymer manual and still does the same thing--- its a 97 that has original clutch in it but he got it 2 years ago in new condition. He rode it a dozen times and put a over hundred miles on it in June--started acting up on that trip. Any suggestions would be great--I think maybe a bad cable or its not adjusted correctly. He is going to tear into it again this weekend. Thanks

Got there about 945-rode hour--meet up w/bansheertoys and company-awesome folks!!!!- rode again--rained for awhile but with how hot its been all week it felt great--rode through the rain--we were the only banshees there as there were only about 25 trailers in the whole lot. Sort of like we had the place to ourselves!!! At about 11 a huge wind gust came through for about 5 minutes making the whole place a dust storm until the rain came!! Seen some guys trying to keep their canapy from flying away and it was like a umbrella bending backwards legs/arms bending opposite ways--they sort of smashed it together--lets say its f'ed. Burned almost 5 gallons of gas--was good to get some seat time in with my busy work schedule!! It will be at least a month or two till I will get back on the saddle I hope!

Sounds like you have a few others going--I willl meet up with you--I will try to get a early start in the morning--going out for a night cap now!!!! see you there---Hope some others make it as well!!

Whats kind of truck/trailer combos should I be looking for and where is everyone thinking of parking. Are bansheesrtoys and rollinrhino the only ones going???? I'll be in a blue GMC with the shee in the back. If no ones going I will go another day Sunday. If some HQ's are going I will be there.

Looks like I will be driving solo--no one to go with everyones busy----I live in Joliet area/Will county if someone wants to meet up and drive down there with me--I have a truck/sled trailer----split the gas and someone to talk to--ya know. Let me know if anyone interested. It would suck if I get there and no HQ'ers to ride with--I've done it at the dunes but it easy to rip around by yourself. Trails I think would be a little different. Still planning on going!!

Wish I could make it tomorrow but gotta work dammit-i work every saturday---will be there on Sunday if anyone is up for another day of riding. Going with another banshee(ltr250r) and a 4x4 quad. Should be there around 9-10 on Sunday---be in a blue GMC, a quad cab GM, or a white Ford. We usually park on the bottom somewhere. Hope you guys have a good turnout with the heat wave coming. Cant wait to see some pics!!!!!!!!!

I work every saturday----Will anyone be riding on sunday?? Rode once last year w/ shadowbanshee. Haven't rode since--wife and I just had second kid 2 weeks ago. I NEED SOME SEAT TIME!!!! Hey shadow---are you addicted to the shee you picked up last year or what!!!!!

Would love to go but only days off are Sunday and Mondays---we'll tear it up later in the year when I'm not so busy and I always make 1 or 2 winter rides there every winter(cabin fever!!). Let us know if you see any other shees out there--I doubt it during the week though. Have a good time!

Great time riding--not to hot-got some great riding in and had a blast--Met up with shadowbanshee(great guy)--Only saw one other banshee besides our group-If Im not to busy maybe I will make next months trip but I doubt it. Take care.

Will be there on sunday with lt250rfd and his family along with some of his buds-2 shees, 50 scrambler, 250 trailblazer, and I thinks a few hondas??-We will be in a white f-150 or a quad cab dodge. We will park somewhere on the bottom--maybe by some shade(if any)?? Prob get there around 10 or 11. When I go in the winter theres usually only about 15 trucks/trailers and you can park anywhere-and I never see another banshee-not sure how busy it gets in the summer or where everyone parks-Just got the shee out and man does it always seem super fast when you dont ride one for 6 months!!

I will be there as long as it doesn't f"n rain the whole day--forecast looks ok-unbelievable how the humidity whips up a thunderstorm lately everyday! I will have more details when we load up later in the week-2shees for sure. Will be with a mix of quads if everybody goes. I love the woods or pinning it up the peagravel hills. The place is really a blast with snow on the ground--1st time going there without snow in about 5 years.

I will be there with a few other guys and 2 shees--black/red shee and a purple/yellow one. I usually only ride here in the winter but have a chance to go that day---will be there for sure unless its gonna be a steady rain like it has been for what seems like every other day the last 3 weeks. Haven't rode since January---I NEED SOME SEAT TIME!!!!! THERAPY!!!!
