  1. Maybe I am confused... on the box for the pistons it says "Clear 0.0030" I think I just assumed that they were .030 over, but now that you say it they are 65mm or .040 overs. I did the compression check properly I am pretty sure. I have never checked it on a bike before always on cars. I just took out the plug and put in the fitting that fit from my Snap-On Compression tester and kicked it until the needle stopped. They both were at 165 or so. Let me know if that helps. Totally different subject.... how much power can be made using the stock cylinders? I dont mind going a little radical, but I really like to ride and not just drag.
  2. Yeah I wasnt too sure where it should or could be if I am running that fuel. I am at sea level and we always ride on the Ocean dunes so it always stays the same altitude. Do you drag only or all around dune riding with your Cub motors? Just curious on what to build this winter.
  3. I just put some 35mmPWKs and I used a brand new stock one. It is way better than the old stock one, much smoother and easier to pull.
  4. I am pretty sure that the next thing I do to my bike is going to be a head from Jeff. I am just not sure what CC domes to get. I bought Wiseco Pro-Lite (513M06500) pistons .030 over when I rebuilt it last winter. I dont know if they are any higher compression than stock though. I had my head milled at a local machine shop but I forgot how much they took off :: . I have V Force3's, 35mm PWK's, T5's, +4 Timing and running 104 Octane with Ethanol. When I did the compression test it showed 165 on both sides. I would like to run as much compression that I can (safely) on the fuel that I am running. I have a billet basket and brand new clutch as well. This winter will be a full teardown and build but for now I would like to get what I can out of her. I ride strictly in the sand drag and hill climbs mostly. I know that porting would be the best thing to do but I cant be without her for the summer. Thanks in advance. Matt
  5. I sent James my stock Banshee swingarm. He has been in contact with me the whole time and I am sure that he will get the parts done. Making a swingarm isnt an easy job, not just making a jig. My understanding was he was looking for parts that people had extra. I would not have taken any parts off my bike and have my bike out of commision while they were being made. Just my .02
  6. Haha! I was freakin out for a minute and then I used this wierd feature on the forum call "SEARCH". :: We are still going to Sand Lake tomorrow... if you want to come down we will be there.
  7. I figured it out. I searched and found a post from last month from a guy with the same problem. I didnt know that you have to remove the factory O Rings when installing the aftermarket clutch. I removed them and it totally fixed the problem. Thanks for the help.
  8. I just installed my first clutch in the Banshee. I bought the billet basket, and clutch kit from Jeff. Everything is in and done but the clutch is not releasing. I can start the bike in neutral, but when I kick it down to first the bike dies. I know there is the adjustment on the pressure plate with the bolt but I followed the instructions in the manual and it still dies. Does anyone have any idea what might be going on? Thanks in advance. Matt
  9. My wife and I and a bunch of friends are going to Sand Lake next weekend. If you are interested in going let me know. It is pretty close to Portland for you. We have a spot reserved at Sand Beach camp grounds.
  10. That stock Banshee swingarm looks really familiar
  11. I have one as well. It works fine for me, I have the Paypal Debit card so I can spend the money that is my account anywhere that accepts Mastercard.
  12. Is anyone from Washington or Oregon planning to be done at Sand Lake the weekend of the 12th and 13th? We will be there just curious if there are any other guys from the board in the area.
  13. Looks really good! Nice find
  14. Once it is done that will be pretty cool.
  15. Happy Birthday Jeff!!!
  16. I recently bought some new carbs and accessories from Jeff and I had some questions about a few things. I had asked him to call me when he had time, no hurry or anything, but I told him I would be up late as usual. He called me at 10PM Seattle time! I have never had better service from anyone for anything. He has my business for all my parts and mods.
  17. Our first trip for the summer si going to be at Florence April 20th evening through the 23rd. Just seeing if anyone is going to be down there at the same time. We are staying at Driftwood for the weekend.
  18. I did the same thing and there was a bunch of crap on the screen.
  19. Looks good!
  20. Id like to be roosting some more but it keeps raining up here!
  21. I would assume that you need to have it reprogrammed. Im sure that they will change the injector duty cycle or pulse width to richen up the mixture. You should also be able to change the timing curve as well. I am curious if anyone knows exactly how on injected bikes.
  22. Make that 4 for T5's  That is what I run on my bike.
  23. Just get yourself a service manual, or download this one http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...=service+manual Follow all the steps to remove the bowls on the carbs and the main jet is easy to get to.
  24. Yeah. I would like to get all of the bolts replaced some day. They sell a kit at Tacoma Screw that comes witha large variety of nuts, bolts, and washers. We bought it and used it for a show car a few years ago, but stainless steel down there is not cheap. I will let you know if I am going to head over there though. Thanks
  25. Porting is next. I didn't want to buy carbs that would be too small for the future, so Jeff recommended the 35's so I have some room to grow.
