just go to an auto store and buy the ngk wires with plugs. they come in a package.. i have red ones but they come in black to.. work great.. peace devin

how tight should my axle bolt be??? i know your rear sproket should have a little play.. right??? or should i crank that sucker tight??? i just dont want to crank if its sapost to have some play?? peace devin

i want to have alot of snap off the strart.. i do a lot of pit riding and jumps.. short trails.. and alot of wide open roads.. i dont really care if i get up to 100mph.. i can always change my gearing.. lots of drag racing to with other bikes to.. well im thinking.. port job.. new pistons , head, now with a stroker??? what will the new crank do?? id like to keep my stock carbs to.. peace devin

my shee is fast and all.. but im looking for some more power.. i have fmf fattys on power cores. k&n fillter, boost bottle.. what is the best way to up my power.. once my pistons are gone im going with .40 wiscto kit.. so should i get a new head?? domes??? i wouldnt mind reaching the 100mph zone.. peace devin

i was just wondering what kind of signs there are for when your motor is going.. i bet alot of people on this site have replaced there heads/pistons/rings/cranks/ ect.. so you must know of some signs of parts about to go??? just wanted to know so i dont end up blowing up my motor to bad somday. thanks peace devin

i was going to change my clutch cable today and go out.. but it wasnt that easy.. i ended up removing my carbs/tank/plastics/ just to get to the f..in bolt that was striped to f..k holding my cable on.. once i went throught hell to get to the bolt to get it out.. it only took about 3min to hook up the new cable.. i was perty pissed that i couldnt just flow through this.. anyone else have to rip apart the shee to change a simple part?? i thought it was going to be an easy night to night.. i was wrong.. now i just hope my carbs will still work the same.. at least my cable is smooth as butter.. peace devin

its very dusty around where i live... and dirty... but i was wondering about removing my air box and running just 1 k$n fillter or the 2 of them.. but besides changing my jettings is it better or worse.. wouldnt it suck up most of the dirt into my motor??? i just hate the danm air box.. but better safe then sorry right??? peace devin...

I never had oil come to the top of the fill before. yeah i know... iv changed my oil many times and for some reson it was dif this time.. well its ok now.. it went down to the right level.. its i switch the oil this time.. thanks.. peace devin..

well if your starting off in 2nd gear from a dead stop... its a banshee.. the powerband in almost half way through... if it bogs its probly because it wont kick in.. just ry starting in first.. when i drag race.. i always start in first cuz i think its funny ass hell when i snap it in 2nd and rip past who ever is next to me..lol.. oww banshees are the best.. peace devin

i just changed the oil in my shee.. 1 and 1/4 litters came out and so i put that back in.. and the oil is almost to the top of the lid.. really full.. i havent started it up yet cuz it is poring rain out.. but dos the oil really go down that much once started??? how much oil you guys put in when its finshed drained??? peace devin

i just bought some syinthic (sp) gear oil.. iits 75w90 and it says its great for anything that asks for 80 to 90w... and it was f..kin pricey.. do you think ill be alright with this???? peace devin

if they do keep the banshee.. it will be stupid unless its the 350 twin.. thats what a shee is.. a twin 2 -stroke hunny.. and if they change i wont have the same thoughts about it.. i thinkis its better to stop making it then change it.. the shee's are the only bike that have been around since 87 and havent really changed at all.. its just a shame the the polution control is shutin down 2 strokes.. peace devin

.. well.. i can ride alomst any 4 stroke on its wheels for ever... but when it comes to my banshee.. i can wheelie it in all gears to 4th.. but i cant keep it up.. i want to slow it down and do sweet ones. you guyts have any tips.. i just hate doing wheelies when going 80mph.. peace devin..

WHEN I BOUGHT MY BANSHEE.. well i went from a honda 250 rancher.. now i drove many bike befor i bought the banshee.. i always wanted one just because.. the first time i seen one i was hooked.. then when i went to test drive mine.. i was ready for the speed and power.. but man i was in for 1 big shock.. 1 went down the street just low in 2nd.. then turned.. snaped it.. and well.. i thought my armes were going to rip out my sockets.. my neck snaped back.. then i turned around again.. and snaped through to 4th.. and pulled back in buddys drive way.. WITH ONE BIG SMILE.. first 2 words i said.. THATS FAST.. bought it.. rippied it for 4hrs that day.. been hooked on it ever since.. will never buy another bike.. peace devin

well it is sad to hear there is nomore shees being made.. but i had brent at alba tell me that yamaha said they would be getting 06's.. anyways.. at least if they do stop.. then they will be worth more and when somone sees it they will be stoked.. i know be for i ever bought mine. id see 1 in a truck and be so i happy i seen one.. now i love puitting mine in my truck so others can see it.. they should make at least 1 more and have a really nice color to them.. shees will always be the best bike.. oww yeah never mind.... the new polaris 50's are sapost to be off the hook.. look for them at the dunes soon.. lol.. peace devin.. ok.. my shee is running a bit ritch.. iv checked everything... so i should switch to 290.. and 27.5?? with 1.5 turn or the screw.. i havent had my carbs apart.. is this somthing i should do my self.. ?? anyways.. i just want all my power.. peace devin..

i have checked my plugs and there good... my bike works great and its not very ofton im WOT... but befor i changed my plugs that were really bad.. the bike did stop pulling once i was WOT... my banshee has been drivin with no jets ever since it was bought in 99.. and had the rings changed once.. all the parts were put on in 99.. now is there any way that mabe the jettings are fine.. is it possible because the bikes been like this since 99.. like should i really be worryed that much?? peace devin

ok i have a 99 shee.. it has fattys and a k&n filtter.. with a boost bottle.. now its not jetted.. it works great.. hadnt had it out long enought to hit WOT.. but it seams like shes good.. i live right on the water.. what should i jett to?? peace devin

ok i read the topic on jetting.. i read over the listing to your motor part. and i know my motor is not running lean. it starts first kick every time, and idles great. but for running ritch im not sure.. the motor sounds great. the trottle is right there , better then when i had old wires on it. and it works even better when wormed right up.. i dont ever go to far from the ocean considering i live right on it perty much. so should i realy go out and buy a jetting kit..????? i think i should anyways.. but.. peace devin
