  1. curt bought another bike from us today(83 200x) .if you get a chance to deal with this guy go for it , he is a good guy
  2. dont start being a punk that is not what this is about jerky , i could care if you wear a lid or not ,but im just saying you said pro choice to wear one or not and i am saying no lid= more injurys .im not trying to impose my beleifs on anyone . no disrespect intended that is not what this post is about ,i hope it just makes people aware it can happen to anyone
  3. what are your choices being pro choice ? dead or alive that is what it comes down to. i hope you make the right choice at the right time
  4. i wish we had a helmet law in illinois, it would keep insrance rate down . we should have a helmet for quads and everything ,if you get caught without it you lose your bike for a while ,or have to pay some crazy fine . im sure it would be cheeper than medical bills. it just pisses me off to see some kid on a rocket with a tanktop shirt on and no helmet thinking he is some bad ass ,thinking he is invicvable . he doesnt know what he is in for .when he does get hurt and needs an organ or something he goes right to the top of the donor list cause he is young . they should rate the donor list in a stupid level not a age . dont get me wrong i love the rush you get shifting gears at 9,000rpm but take the precautions for yourself and others who care about you. if i caught my 11 year old daughter on her bike with no helmet i would sell that bike so fast she wouldnt know what happened. RIDE SMART GUYS
  5. i cant think of one reason not to wear helmet . i bet big ben would not let a 250lbs. linebacker take a shot at him without a football helmet on . so i dont understand why he jumps on a jet with no lid . he calls himself a risk taker .well i would say he sure is .do you think he will ride again? if so do you think he will wear a helmet?
  6. a lid is not going to help all the time but im sure in most cases it does . it saved one of my boys life . he broke like 7 bones,(ribs , arm, pelvis) but no head injurys(he had a helmet on) . his helmet was all cracked ,but i guess it done its job.
  7. this is a terrible thing to happen ,but it is a perfect example to what can happen to riders that dont wear a helmet when riding . it can happen to anyone . most of the injurys were to his head and face . it is your choice to wear it or not ,but i hate to hear about guys in crashes with no helmet . the time it takes while sitting there letting your bike warm up, you can be putting it on . so lets put them on guys its a small price to pay ,instead of having your jaw wired shut.
  8. i also have one 55.00 shipped
  9. sounds like a mean shee . on some trails that thing will be touchy but once you hit a straight hold on and have fun. it is going to be a huge difference going from that z to the shee have fun with it and welcome to the hq you came to the right place .your friend think you are crazy cause they know it is time for them to eat rocks
  10. nice shee!! you would make out pretty good on a part out . it will just take a little time (back and forth to the post office) congrats on the twins
  11. the guy i know near me that races them, said he just switches the pulleys around, but im not real sure but his riders go like 55-60mph no problem . i think they are too top heavy for that type of speed .i almost tip mine over going 2mph, but to each his own but his name is fish hook that should tell you something :baseball_original:
  12. i have a good clutck basket and the exhaust pipe
  13. my cpi pipes has cpi racing on both pipes not just one
  14. out of the pipes you listed the cpi are the top end pipe, toomey and pro circuit are more trail or all around pipe
  15. post some pics and the mods , in case someone tries to part it out. hope you get it back
  16. they are power pros i just sold some like them. bump!!
  17. i would start by trying a different oil , and maybe a higher octane gas if you can get it
  18. for the mods you have now a 4 would be fine , your weight has a lot to do with it . but if you plan to do more motor work you might want the 6 (not trail friendly) very wide turning . i have a 6 and i weigh 250 i can wind it up tight and drop the clutch with not much lift ,i hope this helps some . oh and welcome
  19. yea he is a great guy
  20. no you dont have to take the air box off . my new cpi dont slide all the way together, i just put the collar on the little gap . with no leaks it is just a tight fit with these pipes
