  1. PM sent
  2. Check the reeds really carefully. I had a similiar prob the other day and the reeds on my my left side was loose.
  3. Right, the bike was not going anywhere and the motor was running and the lockout was not spinning. I don't have an override. How would having one help with my prob? I run straight race gas. Is the adjuster nut the one in the center of the lockout? If it is, it's still on there. It looks tight but I'll check when I tear into it today.
  4. I'm happy to say that I got 107HP and 57lbs of torque at the dyno the other day on my newly built 4mil cub. However, I ran into some problems on the first of riding today. First of all, when racing or at high rpm, I had a hard time shifting up; almost impossible unless I let up on the rpm. My other problem is at the end of the day on the last race up the hill, the rpm was reving but the bike started to slow down and suddenly wouldn't go anywhere. DId I burn out my clutch? I thought the clutch went out slowly. I do have brand new Hinson cluch setup and a new lockout. The fibers and the discs are used but were still in good shape. I should also mention that when the engine is running, the lockout is not spinning. What you guys think the problems are?
  5. Probably or you might. Since you can't decide, you may want to mix? In that case, go with 19. It just happens that I have a barely used set of them. Let me know if you're interested.
  6. smear generous amount of grease around the lip of the filter.
  7. You prob already know but there is a L and R stinger. Might wanna double check.
  8. Here's a good buy: http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/mcy/343438673.html
  9. PM Vwpartsman on here. He may have some freshly zinc'd bolt that'll fit.
  10. Yep, 2into1 and Paul Turner pipes would be a good start. Shop here: http://www.cascadeinnovations.net/
  11. I have the whiteknuckle for a 38. Have not installed it yet but looks pretty badass http://whiteknuckleracing.com/index.html?lmd=39139.738808
  12. I'm assuming you want an adjustable one? If not I think I may have a stock one in the garage somwhere. Let me know and I go look and send it to ya.
  13. Don't do it unless you got lotsa money. I'm in that stage right now. I had a nice ported setup with all the right fixin's until I was spoiled by my bud's 7mil cub. Except I went with a 4mil thinking that it was only gonna cost me $1500. Boy, was I wrong. after getting a crank and a cub, that was $1500 right there and it was just a start; 38pwk carbs - $350 Sherearer - $650 Lockout - $400 Big domes - $60 LSR +8 swing - $900 chain - $100 And doesn't include some of the things I didn't need to do like powdercoating the frame and case $600, new paint job $500, polisheing all the new stuff $500. But then again, I got me one fast bike and the prettiest bike out there.
  14. And when you get the crank welded, install a TZ bearing installed on the powerside as well.
  15. Now that I got my cubs, I need to sell my dune ported cylinders. They have been bored .20 over with wisco prolites. As you can see, it has been hand polished to a brite shine. Before I tore it down, it ran very strong with lots of low end power. All the work was done at the tail end of last season by RB Porting and I probably ran less than 10 tanks through it. If you're looking into getting a port job, having it bored and getting new pistons, save time, money and the hassle by getting mine. It's ready to be bolted on! No studs. $450.
  16. I gotta a local guy who wants to pick it up but I haven't heard from him in a few hours so I'll offer it to you for the same cost and I'll ship it to you. $375.
  17. I decide to go Cub and need to change out my almost new 2into1 setup. Here's the site to Cascade http://www.cascadeinnovations.net and you can read all about it. I bought it at the end of the last season so it may have about 6 rides. It's been POLISHED (except the cap) so it's nice and shiny. I just had the carbs cleaned after my last ride. The setup comes everything you need so all you have to do is bolt it on and go. (pull cable, carb, manifold, K&N filter w/outerwear, gaskets and bolts). If you've never had this setup, you'll love it. It has lots of low end, pulls hard, very easy to maintain and the compartment just looks so clean and unclustered. I need to get $400 (shipped)out of it so that I can buy some 39's. Thanks for looking.
  18. I got a complete set of T-5. It's been used so it has some minor rust and a ding on the right side pipe but no big deal. It was repacked 2 rides ago. No leaks. Still has many life left. $250.
  19. I got a pair of Noss 21 domes for sale. They've been used for about 5 rides and in great condition. No scratches or dings. $40 shipped.
  20. Fine. You can have them for $30+ship. Let me know when you want it.
  21. Hey, if you do want some domes for cheaper than retail, I have a pair of Noss 21's. It will fit the Pro Desine. It's been used for about 2 months and it's in great shape. $40 +ship. If you or anyone needs it, PM me.
  22. It's an easy mod to do. I happend to have a new adjustable plate that was installed but not run for sale. I ended up having to buy the whole set up (stator and plate) so the plate I bought separately for $40 is up for grabs for $25 plus ship. PM me if interested.
  23. I recently purchased a new 4"+ LS swingarm and got it all installed and noticed that the front chainslide was crooked. If you looked at the slide from the rear, you can see that back end of the slide would point towards left. So the chain glides from the right edge of the slide and gradually get on the center of the track. Does that make sense? Anyway, I took it all apart and put it back together again and still the same. The slide is new as well as the swingarm. Has anyone else experience this prob?
