  1. sorry i dont mean to barge in and steal a thread but what are you guys putting on the fingers on the direct drive lock up to add more weight? mine just has the simple bolt and nut for weight, and will i be able to feel the diff.? i need all the non clutch slippage as possible, i do 300ft sand and dirt. plus im large fellow 6-3 275lbs

  8. im running the magnum setup in mine as well, ive had it for about 5 yrs now. the only problem ive had out of it is replacing the cushions a few times.

  10. just wondering if i was to change to straight cut gears if it was worth it and would i really be able to tell a diff.?? i dont know about yall, but for $375 and a couple of hours of my time, i want to feel what i did. what do you guys think that run them. my mods are in my sig. little over a hundred horses at the wheels
  11. i recently went to alky and im tring to keep from having to run a pump, so im going to mod the cap, add larger bowls and i already have a dual pingle so if all of this still dont work then i guess ill have to run a pump. thanks for the info guys
  12. i read on another forum that there are some drag racers(1/8, 1/4 mile and 500ft guys) that are modding there gas cap so that the fuel will gravity feed faster. ?? have you guys heard of this?? basiclly this is what im looking at, is to to help with fuel flow so that i dont have to run a pump. ive already ordered larger bowls and so i was wondering what is done when modding that cap, drill straight though to the vent hose?? it does make sense to let the tank drain faster without air bubbles. thanks
  13. my engine runs very hard. jim is def. worth the wait, like wes and fouledout said, he does work full time and he has a lot of projects going but he is a great builder and has alot of research done on his porting

  15. what size is your bike?? did you buy the ign. set up new?? if you didnt buy it new the first thing i would do is ohm your coils. they need to be less than 1k ohms. what kind of timing do you want to run, you need to find top dead center on the left cylinder and there is a chart that you use to convert measurment into degrees to time your coils- its an extensive setup the first couple times you do it, but after a while it gets second nature to set one up. but if your guy doesnt know how to i would find someone to walk him through it. make sure all your grounds are good. use a thick guage cable to ground engine to frame and use good kill switches also.

  23. just as the title says, i have a stock set of cylinders that are stock bore, still have hatch marks in them, never been ported/ or touched. came off of a running 03. asking 200.00 plus the ride. also willing to trade.......i need a set of good pipes for a dune port bike im building for my wife. always need a good set of cases. could even use some plastics.... black. lasar star lights or something close. new chain for a 8 inch swinger. let me know what you have to barter. i also have 4 sets of stock carbs if anyone needs some.
