  1. The the main reasson was the powder coating was really shitty. It was chipping off everytime anything would touch it. I did some research on here and a lot of people had bad things to say about them. Everyone said to invest in better a-arms so that they won't break while i was landing a jump. I just figured i better be safe than sorry and spend a little more for some better a-arms. The guy at full flight was great to deal with and only cared about making me happy.
  2. At first i bought a shitty set of full flight racing a-arms, i then sold my stock ones, when i realized what shit the full flight ones are i sent them back for a full refund. That left me with no a-arms. I havem't gone riding in about 4 weeks andi'm feanen reel bad. I talked to Gary and he said atleast four weeks. I did some reseach and a lot of people said it took even longer. I did some more research and the next best a-arms for the price are the alba a-arms. I just received them today and will be riding this weekend.
  3. Why NOOOOOOOOO?
  4. i like having the heel guard, and i think it looks better.
  5. Alba sells them for cheap, or if you can wait for them to make them quicksand is also good. Don't buy those cheap ones on ebay. They are crap.
  6. Not surre but, check your compression and make sure you didn't blow the motor. That happened to mine and the top end was all F'd up.
  7. They are supposed to be comparable to the lone star a-arms, but it will take 4 weeks to make them. I'm very impatient and just went with the alba chrome a-arms, and i paid $680 shipped. Thats not too bad compaired to the rest.
  8. The company that makes the axle isn't called g-force, i believe that tusk makes the axle and just calls it g-force. I have heard good things about it and for the money i don't think i can go wrong. I'll be buying one real soon.
  9. What he said
  10. After installing did you run in to any problems with the the tires turning too far?
  11. I just ordered my +2 a-arms and already have my 450 shocks. I just want to see how they should look, and how is the ride?
  12. I just ordered a chrome set today. What did you mean by keep your stock parts? They say they come with everything you need. Are the tie rods nice and thick or what? I'm gonna put the yfz 450 shocks on there, does anyone have pics of the alba a-arms with the 450 shocks.
  13. I would go with the wiseco 4mm stroker, and just use the spacer, run a cool head with 17 or 18 cc domes and i would definitly invest in some bigger carbs to finish the deal. V-force reeds wouldn't be a bad idea either. Your looken at like $1500 to $2000. Its definitly worth every penny. Good luck. If you live in NJ i can get you a good deal on an install.
  14. I have a lot of mods with a 4mm stroker and the 16 tooth front sprocket really wasnt going anything for me. I switched back to the 15 and im much happier with it.
  15. I would go with a really shinny black frame. Black and blue look real good together.
  16. I would get the prodesign filter over the K&N.
  17. Where can i get a set of clamp on filters to fit my keihin 33mm carbs? Will a stock clamp on kit fit?
  18. I'm looking for a clamp on air filter that will fit my keihin 33mm carbs. Send me an email if you have any or know where i can get one.
  19. I have the moose thumb throttle on my banshee, it works great and has never given me any problems. Stock cable will work. I might know someone who has one for sale. Give me an offer and i'll look in to it.
  20. Does any one have any good places to ride in that wouldn't a long ride from central NJ?
  21. I'm still not sure what to buy. After reading all the replies i think stock or +2 will be best. I really like to wheelie and jump, but i can't turn down a good race. I hate to lose so i wanna keep the front end down off the line. I also wanna make my quad look nicer, with a new swingarm round carrier and a new +2 axle. I think +2 might be the best bet.
  22. Thanks for the good ideas, is it a bad idea not to have an air box if i have the pro design filter? I'm sure i can make it work some how.
  23. I'm looking into getting an extended swingarm, but i have no idea what size i should get. I like to drag race against friends and anyone who thinks they got a fast quad, nothing too serious, jumping, and i would still like to be able to go through trails when i need to, And i still wanna ride wheellies all day. Can anyone reccomend a good size for me?
  24. I have 33mm carbs on my banshee and just bought the boss racing intakes. It was a tight fit before the new intakes but now there is no way to get my air box on. Does anyone have any good ideas about what to do? The air box sitts about an inch and a half back.
  25. If you cut the air box, where it connects to the rubber boots that then connect to the carbs they will fit and still work fine. You may have to trim the rubber boots too. Its a tight fit but you can do it.
