  13. I got a 01 shee, weisco pistons, dynojet stage III kit running 270 mains, K&n filter with airbox vents, snorkel off, boysen power reeds, moose boost bottle, 3/8" reedspacers, stock exhaust. want to get a NOS head, but im not sure what size domes to buy. i DONT wanna run race gas but want max performance, and most of my riding is done 1000 feet above sea level. HELP! Whats the deal?
  14. Okay, just installed stock bore weisco pistons, all new gaskets, wrist bins and bearings, reeds, reed spacers, boost bottle, jet kit, k&n filter, fairbox vents, tors removal kit, EBC clutch and new cable, PE basket, blah blah blah.... before i did this, the exhaust spat out typical two-stroke-like blue smoke. nothing wrong with that, right? now its white, like if you blew a head gasket in your car. ive fully warmed it up, ridden it lightly for the past 3 days to get the rings to seat, but i still have this white smoke, although its less when warm then at start up. no loss of power anywhere in the rev-range, this thing hauls ass now. im not losing any coolant, im thinking maybe the premix is diluted too much or some other problem with the fuel. am i paranoid or does anyone have any ideas?
  15. Thats the order in which you tighten the head bolts, from the inside out in a criss-cross pattern. The #'s are stamped into the stock heads, tightn them, then torque them in the order stamped, starting at 1....
  16. I just put in a new EBC clutch, works great, but if you go with tougher springs, get a new clutch cable, its cake to put in, and costs nothing basically, and the new springs will wear out your old cable quick as can be.... oh and if you do sometime in the future decide to get a basket and do it yourself, GET THE CLUTCH GRABBER TOOL, i got all gung-ho on mine and it ended up costing me a basket, clutch boss, 3 bloddy knuckles AND the price of the tool.... i wish i had known that sooner.....
  17. Hey mine didnt come with a Manuel either, is that some litle guy who washes the mud off your quad so you can relax after a hard day in the dirt? I didnt see that option when I bought mine.....
  18. I noticed a difference with the throttle response, but i added them along with a crapload of other goodies, so i cant contribute my powergains to the reeds themselves.
  19. After much debate b/t me and the other guys I ride with, we have still yet to decide the best location for the 3/8 " Vitos reed spacers for my 2001 shee. Currently i have them installed between the intake manifold and the reed cage, while some guys think its better to install them between the reed cage and the jug. Still a few guys think it doesnt matter. Any help?
