  1. I have T5's with silencers , bare metal. I'd part them for 200 bucks for everything.PLus shipping.
  2. Did you try bew spark plug caps? sometimes it's as simple as that. I had an electrical problem, replaced coil, plugs , magneto, and it ended up being my freakin' $2.39 spark plug caps.
  3. My wife and I ride alot in other states. She fairs pretty well being 1.) she like 100 lb girl, and 2.) She had cancer in her chest wall and had like 4 ribs removed and some muscles in her back, her collar bone ect. She can still rock on the quad.She never fell off till the last trip to Hatfield McCoy. We were coming down a hill which had a pretty steep incline and a switch back at the bottom. She was going nice and easy which is unusual for her , came around the switch back and just slowly rolled the bike on top of herself. Funny how slow it happened, but I'll tell ya what, When the bike came down she was under it and I heard some part of the bike crack her helmet. If she didn't have it on she wouldn't be here right now. And that was at like 1 mile an hour. Ya never know what can happen. The only thing I ever fell off of multiple times is that damn dirt bike in the garage ! Had it for one summer and already have busted my shoulder and leg, and freakin' lower back which is the one that really saucks. Gotta keep to the quads, but I'm not a quitter, so I'll get hurt again .....naver fails...
  4. Im looking for a +4 swingarm with round housing bearing carrier( Honda style ). Don't want to buy one new cuz I don't know if it will work on the trails I ride. Please PM me if you have one or know of someone wanting to sell one. Dan
  5. What is the difference between and stroker crank with stock length rods and a stroker crank with long rods. Wouldn't the whole long rod thing put it back to stock stroke? If I had a +4 stroker crank and put a set of long rods on it that were plus 4 , it would essentially be stock stroke again right?Can someone explain this to me? I feel like a real moron, but ya gotta ask to learn.
  6. I'd like to go plus 4 but I live in PA and I don't have any dunes near by. I'd like to use the bike for drags and hill climbs, but who wants to be limited to certain applicastions with a quad because of the swingarm. I'd like to try the plus 4 only thing that sucks is if I get one and don't like it that's a lot of cash down the drain. No one wants to pay full price for a used swingarm, no matter how good of shape it is. AAAAHHHHH !!! Decisions, decisions
  7. I f you pull off your stator cover you will find a small gap by the sprocket. It's supposed to be a drain if water gets on your maneto. I plugged mine up cuz the same thing happened to me. If I rode it in a lot of puddles and snow it would ground out my magneto and , guess what , no power. If water is leaking in from the head then you have more problems than that. What I did was split a piece of vacuum line I had laying around right down the center so you have 2 "U" shaped pcs. Then I used blue silicone and glued them end to end so the 2 rounded parts of the 2 "u"s where glued. Then I slid it in the gap on the cover. A little more silicone and no more water getting in the stator cover. Worked for me. Good luck.
  8. I'd like to redo my ride. I wanted to add a longer swingarm, but don't want to compromise trail riding too much. Anyone have a stretched swingarm and still trail ride?
  9. http://graphicmx.com/satv.shtml Check these guys out. You can customise them. I got a set for My Z. Flames with skulls. The price was good from what I remember. My Banshee has helmet graphics on it. I couldn't find what I wanted in a bike kit, so I went with a helmet kit and did it myself.
  10. I think she kicks ass! Oh man, did I say that out loiud? I'd still like to have a tag team with her and her sister and I don't even know what she looks like! Naw, she's just sucking off her sister, I mean off her sisters fame. Ya, that's it....O'kay, gotta go....
  11. Screw that 400ex. Way out dated motor....tons of mods. , but air cooled single over head cam? You might as well get a mountain bike from Wal Mart ,and save the rest of the money to buy a comfy chair to watch all of your friends have fun . Although 2 strokes are alot easier to squeeze power out of them with little money to invest. I'd get the Banshee then you can hang with all of us cool guys!
  12. I have the same problem. Sometimes I start mine up and only one side will fire. the other just blows cold air out the exhaust. If I rev it a bit , it will fire again. Once the bike is hot, it is not a problem anymore. I only have one carb , so I know it's not the carb. I think I may have a cdi issue. New plug boots, new coil, fresh gas, good compression. Doesn't make any sense. Always the same side too. Hopefully the problem will be cured when I get my motor work done. Good luck with yours! Oh try getting new plug boots. They are like 3 bucks a piece. Doesn't hurt to try. They screw on like the other guy said. I had a problem once before with it and new boots cured it. But not after I replaced the coil and the stator and all the other expensive stuff.I could have just bought the boots and saved hundreds of bucks!
  13. Your clutch is very simple. I would just get a dirt digger kit from Barnet. They are about 80 bucks and come with the steel plates,fibres , and new springs. If you are going to have it apart you might as well just replace the clutch. It's cheap enough at least. You must soak your new fibre discs in oil for a while. I usually just buy them and soak them in oil in like a tuper ware container till the next day or when I get the chance to install them. It won't hurt them cuz they sit in oil in your tranny. If you need instruction on how to change it PM me and I can help. I've done it a bunch of times. And I've already made some mistakes and now know how to do it correctly. Later..... Dan
  14. Last year I raced for the fun of it at Rolling Thunder Near Logan. My wife and I travel to W.V. when tha Hatfield McCoy trail system has organized events. I can't remember what month it was. We are usually at everyone they host. A ride is coming up in a few months which we will be there. I also got to meet Mike Penland at one of the events. It's alot of fun. I wish there were events like that here in PA. Rolling thunder let everyone camp out in the race park for that event. Pretty cool.
  15. I raced in West Virginia just for the fun of it and it loved it. I have a 92 Banshee with a 2 into 1 trinity carb kit, trinity cool head , pro design adjustable ignition plate. I have it bored 30 over. I would like to get a motor kit for it that I can use for drags/ hill climbs but still be able to get out on a fast trail or take it to the dunes. I have looked at Vito's mono block 404 kit, Trinity's Cheetah kit . Should I spend the cash or just throw a +4 styroker crank in it? Trinity also has a 420 kit which I would just send them my cylinders and they will bore and port them. Is 420 too much? I am just looking for a starting point. I don't want to buy something and be sorry I spent the cash later. I would like to keep it around 400cc's though. Please help if possible. Thanks ... Dan
