I've riden quads all the time, but I do have an Rm 125 2003. I'd get a four stroke if I could do it again. You really have to work a 125 on trails just because of the low horse power. I'd get a 250 four stroker. Mighht be the best thing to do...

Go to Sears and get a cheap bench top grinder. Worked for me. I polish all kinds of crap on it. I also polished my stock clutch cover with it. A little bit of air plane coating remover from Auto Zone and some elbow grease on the grinder...looks good !

I just received my plus 4 stroker crank and am waiting for my cylinders to come back from Trinity. Stage 3 porting, 40 over bore,ported cylinders,delta reeds, Trinity cool head,2 into 1 35 mm pwk carb kit, K&N, FMF pipes and silencers and adjustable timing plate. I also am having them polish my cylinders. I have the crank cases almost cleaned up. I plan on powder coating them to match my frame. Anyone else have close to these mods. ? Just curious on what performance I can expect. Thanx.....

I am almost positive that Trinity Racing has a cover for like 135 bucks. I know I saw it right here ! http://www.trinityracing.com/products/yama...sidecovers.html Says right side cover 134.99. Give them a call and see. I think they sell a kit to make you stocker a quick change cover as well.

Quite a while back I was in a band and we played all the dive bars around my area. I used to unload all of my stuff out of my camaro every time I came home from a show. Well, the one night I didn't, they broke in and took my stereo speakers , $700.00 effects unit, $600.00 amp, all of my wiring and cables and left the door open. Luckily I took my guitar in. Never leave it out in the cold. Cops didn't do jack for me cuz the windows weren't broken or anything like that. Douche bags !!! and I had another show to do the next week. Had to go out and buy all new stuff....

Who makes a good looking quick change cover at a reasonable price ? I kniow Albe wants like almost 600 for one. I know there has to be a better price out there than that. I'm looking for new. Not used . Thanx in advance !

Yes they are nice people. We had a great time there. It rained a bit and got cold , but that was near the end of our stay there. I plan on going back this spring for a weekend to have some fun.

I've had good luck with Trinity racing before with parts, but has anyone gotten a port job from them? Any other comments good or bad about Trinity Racing? I'd like to get a port job and stroker crank from them.

I'd have to disagree about the Z's. Stock they aren't that nice, but with some custom graphics and Laker plastics they turn heads. I do agree about the Cannondales. I had one when they first came out and they look like frogs or something. Ran like a champ for me, but freakin' fugly !

Very true. I have a Z 400 and put in cams, carb,Dyna ignition, trinity exhaust and I'm lucky if I am putting out 38 HP's. That's like That's like $2000 worth of stuff for very little HP gain. For that much cash, just in motor work, my Banshee would be pushing some really high numbers! That's why I'll never get rid of it no matter if I have 10 other quads.

I'm redoing the Shee again and want to powder coat the case halves. Problem is mine are shitty. Riva wants 481 for a set. Is there a cheaper place to get new cases?

It's all good. Accidents happen and you take the chance when you ride. I think her pride got hurt the most in that one. Good times, we'll be back at the next event That's there. Our favorite spot is camping in Gilbert at head quarters and the Rolling thunder park.

You need to keep that screw at 1 turn. I asume you are talking about the air screw. Leave it at 1 turn and adjust the idle down then ride it. If problem still persists turn her out another 1/4 turn. Sounds like the slow curcuit is out of adjustment. If it runs fine from half throttle to full throttle then it is most likely that. Try it, couldn't hurt!?!?! Later and good luck.

I would think that if you are making a set, at least model the dimensions off of another name brand set. If you don't have the geometry right you'll be losing alot of performance from the suspension. Shock mounts have to be spot on as well or you'll have problems. Posible bent shock shaft.it's a bit more complex than just welding some metal together. Good luck !

I bought a pair of really big vice grips used for auto body repair. Costs under 20 bucks and they have them at any auto store. Just grinde the ends so they fit in the splinded areas and close her up. It keeps it's grip cuz it is a pair of vice grips which leaves your hands more free to get 'er done...If you want pics, PM me and I will try to post one. Also made a tool for holding fly wheel in place while taking the nut off.

I totally agree. How loud are nascar races? Why can't I ride with a loud pipe in a designated rideing area , but the guy down the street can ride his Harley home at 2 a.m. and wake me and my kid up and that's okay? Half the kids in my area have those little Jap cars with thier big beer keg mufflers that have to louder than 92 db's. But that's okay. I like to hear my bike run while I'm on it! Who cares if a race is loud? That's one reason why I like them too....nuff said...getting very angry...turning green......

Thay sure do. We'll be at the next one coming up too. It's just pretty cool cuz there really isn't anything around here like that. I'm in Pa If I didn't mention. There is a place in Rew PA called the Majestic Trails that hosts rides and has about 27 miles of trails and an MX track up on the mountain. We went to pig roast there about a year ago. I just like the whole camping and riding for days on end. We also go to Croom in Florida every year between X-mas and New Years, but it's always packed.

I guess no one else knows the difference either. Guess I'll have to cal Passion up and find out..

Go to home depot and get a few of them , They are all a set standard. Different widths, but all are set to a standard.
