  1. Let me know if you might be interested in a trade for powder coating? If not I'm still interested and would like to see a picture.
  2. What's up guys? I think I ready to jump up to some bigger carbs. Let me know if you are interested in trading for some custom powder coating. Most of you know my work around here but if you want to see some of my work just let me know. Looking for 33-35mm carbs Thanks Tate
  3. What up guys? Powder Coating is a little slow right now so I am kind of looking for a custom job if anyone has anything they want done? I'm also open to some trades. Here's a list of items I need; Thumb Throttle and housing (aftermarket is fine too) +4 aftermarket swinger +2 J-arm setup aftermarket front shocks Let me know if anyone has any questions. Tate
  4. Yep I still do them. Just let me know if you guys want one I'm burning a batch of them this weekend and shipping on Monday. Tate
  5. Oh and I forgot to list I also need a shift lever.
  6. Thanks man much appreciated! I'll shoot you a PM here shortly.
  7. I'm looking for a few parts that I'd like to have before I head to St. A's in July so I'm looking for a quick trade turnaround. If you are interested I'll cut you a pretty good deal on powder coating. I'll either throw in more PC to help compensate for shipping or I might also be willing to help a little with cash the best I can. If you are not familiar with my powder coating work let me know and I'll show you some pics but I've done a lot of work for HQ members. Items I would like: Aftermarket J-Arms & A-Arms. Can be up to +2 Aftermarket Tie-Rod Ends (need some strong high quality ones) Tie-Rods - 1/2" longer than stock (need 2 but would like 4) Aftermarket lightweight swing arm (not sure on length yet I need to measure my extended stock one but I know it's at least +4) Carbs Bigger than stock but not HUGE preferably Mikuni. Thanks for looking! Tate
  8. Powder holds up perfectly fine. PM me if you want them done and I'll get you a quote. Tate
  9. Here's a few pics of some flat black projects I've done and one gloss;
  10. Yeah I had one of my flywheels lightened and granted the guy may have done it wrong but the damn thing came apart on me. It actually broke in a perfect circle around the shaft hole so the shaft hole and the wheel were two separate parts... The stock weight flywheel is fine, it helps keep the motor spinning instead of bogging down in tight situations or off the line.
  11. I don't really have a set pricelist, I price per job since there are so many different things people typically want but if you want a quote on some stuff just PM me and I'll get you a quote. Let me know what color you want and the parts you want done. Some people have risked doing stock arms but I typically don't, some have teflon and some have plastic in the ball joints and it could melt. If you have aftermarket arms with removable ball joints then I can do that. Just PM me and I'll get you a quote on anything else you want done. Yes I can go over ceramic as long as the ceramic is still in decent condition and not chipping off etc. PM me the details and I'll quote you. Thanks guys Tate
  12. Not necessarily recommended but I did mine in blue. I've gotten lucky that the blue hasn't burned off, probably because I faded it into high temp black near the hottest part of the pipes. They don't have many selections for colors in high temp, only black, silver, and grey for the most part. You can see mine in my sig below.
  13. What up guys? Well I haven't been very active on HQ lately but I need to make a little extra cash for some riding money this summer so I'm taking on a few extra PC jobs. As usual I'll try to cut HQ members a little better deal than I normally do other people. I'm hoping to hit St. Anthony's at least 2 times this year but it's a long trip! Many of you guys know my work but here's a link to my photobucket; http://s433.photobucket.com/albums/qq57/nitrotate/powder/ Thanks guys Tate
  14. I made a couple deals and don't think I need shocks anymore but if you want your swingarm done just PM me and I'll get you a quote and see if you want it done.
  15. My favorite suppliers are Columbia Coatings, Caswellplating.com , and powderbuythepound.com
  16. Ok that's cool, thanks. Yeah I just got it. I got a new phone today and was switching it over sorry. I'll PM you the normal price on the swinger and we'll work something out either way.
  17. Holy crap, didn't expect that many responses. Well to be honest the dual rates would be nice, Kiel is closest to me and yes I have silver vein on hand.... so hmmmm let's try this, and maybe I can work something out with all of you; Can each of you maybe send or post a picture of what you have or just let me know if they are stock or not? I might have a use for more than one set or possibly even rear shocks if they are better than what I have on my two banshees now (stock). Dave5.0, I think I would like the dual rates for sure but let me know what you value them at and even if I don't make a deal with the rest of you I'll cut you a big discount on the parts you want done if you are needing some coating (possibly even close to the same amount you would have traded me the shocks for)so as soon as I solidify a deal with one of you I'll let the rest of you know. OR, if you have other items for trade just let me know what they are and I'll see if I need them. Thanks guys!
  18. Yeah just stockers, it's for my reverse trike and I specifically fabricated it to the stock banshee shock. Just let me know what you want done and maybe we can work something out. You can PM me if you want.
  19. What up guys? I'm looking for a set of front banshee shocks, they don't even have to look pretty just be functional and I'll trade for some powder coating. I haven't been around a lot lately so if you are not familiar with my work, here is my photobucket so you can see some. Or you can do a search on the HQ, you'll find all kinds of stuff from me. http://s433.photobucket.com/albums/qq57/nitrotate/powder/ Let me know Tate
  20. I'm bumping this because I've had a lot of people contact me looking for this thread and my DVD. I have a few on hand if anyone needs any.
  21. Haha, yeah I guess so huh? Well he's watching this thread so he'll see this and figure it out I'm sure, thanks man.
  22. Cool thanks, so do you have any idea where to get those spacers? You got the carrier off of ebay right?
  23. Hey so how is your rear brake mounted with that because it isn't spaced over far enough to reach the brake caliper is it?? There's a guy I'm talking to over on the blaster forum that is trying to figure out how to match up the brake caliper with it but its a few inches off and won't bolt up. Do you have a different caliper or something?
  24. Wow, well let us know what you find out. Every bike is different...
  25. I seriously doubt that you should be anywhere in the 300+ range on stock carbs at 5000 feet plus it's 75-85 deg. + out too. I rode in St. Ant. last week and ran perfectly with my 270's and I also live at 5300 feet and ride with 270's all the time. As a matter of fact my wife's bike has only a cleanup port but has T5's, pod, coolhead, reeds, and at 32:1 and I have 250's in hers. When you do you plug checks (if done correctly) and you are not getting that nice cardboard brown ring down at the base of the ceramic then keep changing sizes. If it's just pure white or clean without a ring then definitely go up but if the ceramic is dark or black keep slowly going down until you get it right. You probably won't go much lower than 260 or 270.
