  1. Sorry guys, it is a 33mm, my bad, was up real late......
  2. I'm waiting on my T-5's to get here. Was about to order my jets and K&N when I found a couple of good prices on some 2 into1 intakes and 38mm carb with K&N on-carb filter. My question is would this be too much for a stock motor? If not, will it really make that much difference on my bike or should I just rejet my stock pair and spend the money elsewhere? I will be ordering new reeds also-either Delta 2 or TRD's........
  3. Where would I want to take mine to have it lightened up? Can any machine shop handle it, or should I only go to a bike shop?
  4. Just wondering what everyone's opinion on TDR epoxy reed is? i was about to purchase some Delta 2's, but thought I should check first. How would the TDR's be for a stock motor with T-5's? Would I be better off with the Delta's?
  5. I definitly plan to do the port and head later, but not until I have to tear into her. She still has factory pistons and rings, so I don't expect it to be to long before I need to freshen her up. But until then, I just want to stick with external mods. Give me some more details on the reed port that was mentioned above, remember I'm still a dumb rookie................
  6. True Dat, I got a 2001 Shee for $2500. It still had the original tires with about 70% tread on them. It had hardly been ridden, or ridden very easy. Runs so good, I almost hate to tear into it.......almost! And modding it is almost as fun as riding!!!!!!!!!! Do it yourself and enjoy it much more I think!
  7. O.K. guys, need some more of your expert opinions. Just bought T-5's for my bone stock 2001 shee. I plan to rejet. The only other mod will be a 13 tooth front spocket to make up for my 22x11 Dirt Devils on the rear. My question is what is the best mod to do next? I figure I will have a couple hundred more bones to put into her before I have to cool it for a while (to keep the wife off my ass)!! I am trying to decide between reed valves, or possibly lightening my flywheel and a little timing advance. And of course there's always a different air box/filter combo to replace my stocker with no lid. I can't do them all right now, but will soon. So any suggestions? I kinda thought the way to go was air box/filter, then reeds, then maybe flywheel, but not sure............... Aim me in the right direction!!!!!!!1
  8. So I should stay with the stock rear sprocket? I just ordered my T-5's, hopefully that will wake up my shee.
  9. Guys I bought a Shee that had 22x11 Dirt Devils on it already. They hook pretty good, but I can't help but feel like it's to much of a load. Anybody ever try these? I am thinking of moving to 20x11 Razors or similar. Any thoughts?????
  10. Guys, I found a pretty good deal on a set of Bill's pipes. But never seen anyone use them. Any thoughts? What pipe would you compare them to? Thanks.........
  11. Thanks for the help guys, quess my 1st instinct was right, looks like Fatty's for me. I just have to say for the record "Damn those Rockets are sick!!!!!!!!!" Keep up the good work.
  12. I Just bought my 1st Shee and love it! Have to admit that I expected a little more power, but it's all stock, so still has plenty of potential. I am pipe shopping and need an idea of whats best for me. I quess my type of riding is best described as a little of everything except dunes, as I am in the southeast, don't see many dunes. I ride mainly woods, clay pits, hill climbing, and mx. With the occassional drag to shut up my big mouth 4-stroke riding friends! I plan to purchase a package deal with the pipes, silencers, boost bottle, reeds, and air filter all included. I was planning to go with Fattys, but am hearing about how bad the top end is with these pipes. I think a good mid pipe would best fit me, but as I mentioned before, I am constantly surrounded by 4-strokes(450R's,craptors,polaris's, and tricked out EX's). I can't afford to sacrifice any top end and give them an edge, they are already lined up tp try me, I've been a little hesitant since I am all stock! That being said, now I am considering Toomey or Rockets. I don't plan to tear into my motor until I have to, or at least next winter when I have the down time. So any ideas on which would better suit my needs now with the stocker, and still have room to grow later with the engine mods? Don't want to have to swap pipes once I tear into her. Is there really that much difference between T-5's and T-6's? And will the Rockets kill my trail riding and hill climbing ability? Thanks in advance for the help!
