Make sure there's enough gas so that it will run without being on reserve. That just happened to me and I went crazy trying to get it running.

My shee is stock except tires. It may not be as fast as a modded one, but shee is still really fast.

I'd rather have that shee motor than a CR500 motor. I like the CR fine in a 2 wheeled frame, but in a quad I love the shee motor.

Well I figured out what was "wrong" with the Banshee. I didn't have enough gas in it. I had to run it on reserve. It rune B-E-A utiful now.

Well, it's a mystery. I switched the plugs. I turned the fuel on what I thought to be reserve and it ran B-E-Autiful. It shot alot of oil out of the seilencer,s but ran like a dream. Maybe the fuel was on reserver the whole time, and I thought it was ON? I'm not sure now.

I am going to get some new plugs tonight, and I will see how strong the spark is

Put them on. Looks pretty good.

I disconnected the little black box and it ran on the right cylinder for about 7 seconds then died. The throttle did not kill it, iit would rev up good.

Yeah, I think it's still on. How do I disconnect it?

It would when it was runniing without the plug wire on but with it on it doesn't rev.

I got std Razrs on mine and find they are great.

Tried to get the Banshee running again. It sputters then dies and seems to run on only one cylinder I left the plug cable off the left cylinder(one that doesnt like to run) and tried starting it. It started fine on the right cylinder and ran for about 7 sec's then stopped. Put the plug wire back on and it sputterd and diied again. It's got lots of compression, I don't know what's wrong. I have no clue on jetting so I may need to be walked through something like that. Thanks.

I believe it could. And no, CR500's don't have powervalves.

Yes, the Z400 is better than the EX for sure. If both of them have mod's though it can be a close battle.

Get the shee, you can learn to ride it and do fine in the woods. I wouldn't want to be seen riding an EX.
