i have faith in suzuki no i really hope it will kill the competition as far as i know doug gust is in japan every now and then beatting the balls off the prototypes his motor now is the yosh stroker 450 kit ported bla bla bla .. . suzuki will not allow him to race the z450 motor just to see how they can do on the stroker( to me thats pretty stupid when yamaha is running there 480's) i know this info from my suzuki representative that come's into my dealer my friend (works at motion he's a sales man )eather has.. or the rep showed him the pics if he has them i will definatly showw!!! if you cant tell i really like suzuki and yamaha favorite bike brands

"The latest news from out inside sources at suzuki infroms us that plans for the unveiling of thier all new LTZ 450 high performance quad are in high gear. We're looking for an official debut sometime later this summer, but hereis the scoop on what weve heard so far. The new 450 will not share any component parts from the current z 400. It will be all new from the ground up. It will use a beefed up version of the RMZ450 dirt bike engine, with a DOHC, four-value, liquid cooled four stroke. Look for a much heavier duty clutch for added wear and tear of an atv's extra set of wheels and tires. We have also heard rumors that the new z450 will come with race ready suspension and even have wider a-arms that most racers bolt on to make their machines more competitive. Suzuki has spent a lot of time and invested a lot of money to ensure that the newest z will be track ready"... the rest says how they cant wait to see it and to look for a first test in an issue or 2. and thats from dirt wheels in the over the bars section july editon yea bitch its gonna be fast ass hellllll

when i was on yfz central they said there was going to be a new 700r raptor w/ a new frame and shit ??? but they weren't going to touch the yfz ... im not worried about yamaha im just glad to see the new z 450... its gonna be fuel injected alot easyer to work with i bet its gonna beat the yfz

the gixxer 600 is the fastest 600 the zx 10 is still the fastest top speed bike but the new gixxer 1k beats it everything else as you said you might want a bigger bike if your taller than 5'8 you'll want a 750 its taller than the new 1000 i know this because my sisters fiance and his cousin have both 05 750 and the 05 1000 i sat on and rode the 1000 very comfortlabe , and it feels like it never wants to stop pulling 1000 750 600

he will recomend sheares be cause they allow your motor to rev higher

i have the hot mx port and i have yet to be beaten by any 450 with exaust or cam ,400 660,ds650,250r ..etc just got a -2 swingarm and it hooks even harder great tourk .. almost like the 450's his port job is just plain out nasty look at my sig youll see my parts and as for carbs id go with 28's or 30's any bigger will not be good in corners

i got white power shocks and there bad ass good preload and good landing tires i run razar mx 18'' rear and they hook hard

side rear old POS look at that crack o well the new one is nice and she stands up easy as shit i can feal the power difference with the -2 its definatly got tons more of a tourky feeling cant wait to race it

just got my -2 yesterday and now that im looking at it theres no brake line holder do they make aftermarket holders like for the front brake line on the a-arms but any way here she is -2 swinger

he did more porting than the mx port just not a drag or 12 port he opened the ports up more than the regular mx port

not off the launch you wont but you definatly will take him on top end
