ok guys heres whats up last year I ran my stockers for most of the season..and they were tuned perect! my bike was setup: Gorr woods port K@N filter w/air box no lid. boysen carbon fiber reeds.. 21cc domes koltz oil 40;1 on 93 altitude 700ft 310 main stock pilot stock needle middle clip.. the bike ran awesome for more that a year like that... well the end of summer I got my 28 mm keihin d slides and really didnt get to ride it.. Bike setup v-force 3's boss intakes k@n pods my needle is a n3a8? pilot a 42 main 140? is there anyway possible i can cross reference what i was running before into the keihin jetting? i know i know 150-160 on the main but everywhere around here is selling mains for $7 and pilots for $6.50 that is all my local shops prices...so I would like to atleast hit the nail once before I dish out $100 on jets and the another $100 on gas and oil.....

unless whoever you took it too honed the shit out of the cylinders(seen this done) then your compression should be close, also you should have done a review on the Namura pistons which are cast..the skirts supposedly bust off really easy on them...

yeah hit up Keil AKA "THESHEE" his work is second to none hit did my clutch cover for me and had it bacvk in like 4 days tops..standup guy and i highly recommend him.

sweet ass bike man,,you done an awesome job..now you need to get a coolhead,porting,v-force reeds,and bigger carbs..that alone will turn that into a completly different monster....

I've never bought that kit,,but I've had a few runnin with trying to build a rear shock ones self,and man is it a bitch..it wasnt mine it was a friends we couldn't get it so he took it to proaction and had him put it back together,,the shims and all of that is hella fun lol.......

yeah thats where I got my Gripper...if you even attempt to call it that...verde powersports, boy did I get ripped off.. they only time it was a gripper is when i took it out of the package and it had tape on it from the box...lol..Think I'll go with the RmATV seatcover......thanks alot fellers

yeah thats the exact cover in rockymountain..so it is like a rubber type fabric? RMATV has a bit better prices though at only $44.00

I'm just wanting an all black Gripper seat..Rippen i tried my local upholstery shops and they only had the like nylon??? type gripper material.. My buddy has a raptor and he got the alba graphics kit and it came with this sick ass rubber gripper seat..so ever since then I've wanted one..I eyeballed the one from rockymountain..i just dont have any input... ..I got ripped off on ebay I bought a "Gripper" that was made of nylon and washed it one time and now its like a slipper..haha..I may end up going with cascade but I dont want to pay over $50 for an all black seat....

ok..that just seems rich to me..but everybike is different..as stated before I'm at 700ft and ran my bike with a 260 main with basically the same mods except i had pt mids....now back on topic just do as Daj said test your stator,test your pickup,test your coil. If it were me i would get a cdi off a friend if possible and switch it over that way you don't waste money..if you do all this and it all checks out I'd look into the wiring itself..I've had to completely make a wiring harness from scratch because of the low gauge wiring on the stock shes will crack after it is so old..and will cause intermittant spark...Also the spark plug caps can go bad...good luck... good ass price IMO you can get the studs at your local ACE hardware I think they are somewhere sround $2.00 a piece alot better thant the $30 you will pay somewhere else!........

i ran a 260 main, needle in middle clip and stock pilot with stock carbs on a banshee with pipes,+4 timing,v-force reeds..but we really need what altitude your at.....

whats do you have done to you bike? porting, what kinda pipes? and what is you elevation if you somewhere around 1000 ft id say your rich as hell on the main and if its loading while it idling than your rich as hell on the pilot also...so you have stock carbs im taking it what position is the needle in and whats size is the pilot jet..also have you tried turning out the airscrews...dont buy a cdi until you have absoulutley nothing else to test for....give us some more info and we may be able to help

Anyone know of a super sticky "Rubbarized" gripper seat cover I'm looking for a new cover and i want one so sticky that I have a hard time getting my ass up off it lol.........

I should have explained a little in my first post sorry...just had to bragg on my buddies bike lol, I should have mentioned I have everything to do the 4 mill besides the crank..now for the cylinders. As you know I'm running Gorr Woods ported cylinders,,they have a killer ass lowend and a very smooth powerband and pull really strong up top...I have had 4 other ported bike but some different builders and I like these cylinders the best..with that said I wanted to see if I can get them adjusted or checked out to see if I could run a 4mill and get good numbers from it..I should also mention that I think my buddies "woods" ported bike is almost too much for the woods..as everytime the band hit it rips the damn tires off the ground...yes even in dirt.. The setup I was aiming for would be as follows.. Pt mids 4 mill 35mm pwks (if too hard on gas)than a graydon 2 into 1..I dont think they use as much gas..lol +4 timing cut stroker domes v3's and hopefully my gorr port cylinders.. all this will depend on if i can use my Gorr ported cylinders.. I'm really wanting to know what kinda power i should expect basically out of the 4 mill crank being dropped in?? say like 10 hp and totally different machine or slight little hp increase...

well my buddy who has had his bike down for 4 years just got it back together and running..a local guy ported it for the woods..i have always heard that his bike was fast and powerful but never got to see it in action..so i was helping him tune it the other day and after we got the mid and top dialed in i took a ride on it..and holy shit this is an extremely badass bike...i have had several ported banshees and i have never rode one that pulls like this thing does...the bike literally tries to pull out from under you..i rode it not even 600 yards and when i got back and shut it off i had extreme arm pump lol (twist throttle). Now I was thinkin I hvant rode mine in about a year and it has an Eric Gorr woods port and every other bolt on but I'm thinking about going 4 mil with it..I'm pretty sure my cylinders should be good..just wondering what i will gain...i dont think $500 is worth 4 hp, if that is the case. What can I expect if I drop in a 4 mil crank wnd have some domes cut...? info appreciated!

just search for it in the search bar all you do it elongate the holes..i dont know the exact measurements or how to tell weher +4 is..i just bought the degree timing plate........

damn i missed this thread..Ive been heating pipes and blowing out the dents like that for years..sorry i didnt chime in sooner...the local shops around here charge you $60 a dent to pull the dents out,,,just be sure not to get it too hot and shoot too much air at once or else youll blow a big ass hole in your pipe!..
