  2. yeah I'll see if i can get my local shop to order me some JJK needles and start all over lol...I now have 2 of every pilot from a 35 to a 58..lol thats $100 in jets..lol I'll see what my buddy has in his 35s and see if i can get it dialed in with those before i buy some..don't want to waste anymore money........

  4. so..i went to the sudco needle charts and MJN is the richest needle, I believe so what would be a suggestion should I raise the needle? and see if that help also i see if i cant get a video up this evening of what it is doing....
  5. see..i can throw my stock carbs on there and it run perfect with no issues..then switch over to these carbs then i start having issues..it is mainly in the slow jet I'm thinking by the time, I'm done I'll have a 60 pilot in there just to get it to run right with these carbs..but yeah daj I dont think it is electrical on this one...

  7. ok here it is fellers..my moda are in the sig..I've been trying to fine tune this thing now for like 3 weeks..the problem is in the slow jets..I have a slight bog..if you hammer the gas it will bog but if you do that then hit it again it will take off...I started with a 45 pilot and it seemed like it was lean..the plugs had no color at all while idling and the bog was pretty bad...well long story short I am now at a 55 pilotand the bog is still there but not that bad..the plugs have a dark dark color to them now but they arn't wet..it has me all confused..My top pulls great and plugs look perfect but now ever since I put the 55 pilot in there it has aslight brek up in mid range..(I'm going to lean the needle out and see if this helps...) I just dont know what to do keep going bigger on the pilots or could there be something else wrong..comp is at 145 each cylinder it usually takes about 3 kicks to start and thats weird because with my stockers and same mods it started up on 1st kick...also I have no airleaks or other leaks of the sort..it has to be carbs...any recommendations? Also the airscrew is 1 turn out and I can let it sit there and idle all day and it wont load at all....but c'mon a 55 pilot on my motor?

  10. I've got PT MIDS and need some new clamps but which ones...the fmf/procircuit ones or the toomey type ones...I'm buying the cascade ones from rockymountainatv thanks for the help guys!

  12. sounds like that is what it is..they are locked in by like nut with threads on the outside because th threads are on the housing mine is a 2001 and we ended up having to cut the nut out..and i had to buy a new one. just make sure before you even attempt to try and back the nut out that you let it soak with some good lube and make sure you clean the threads extremely well....
  13. I've seen a few of the janssen get cracked...I have never persoanlly owned one as i run a Laeger but a few guys i know have and have all had bad luck....

  15. everything with my motor is fine good comp and all. I'm just having problems starting it with my keihin 28mm pwks it doesnt matter if it hot or cold. If its cold it will start without choke on after about 5-8 kicks when its warm 2-4 kicks.. It doesnt load when it is idling it will idle all day long and you can go burp it and it will take right off just a lil hesitant, i spent this evening tinkering with it abit the airscrew is 1/2 turn out i moved the the needle up one spot and that got it to start just a tad easier..my question is should i go with a smaller pilot or a larger pilot..i searched a bit but got controversial answer as to which way the pilot needs to go.. keep in mind the airscrew is only 1/2 out and it doesnt load... 45 pilot MJN needle 2nd clip from bottom 150 main...
  16. Wont work With PT MIDS..The Pipes won't allow it.....they are in the way...

I bought this from Rockymountain and I cannot use this because I have PT Mids and a Aftermarket Steering Stem with a Big gusset at the bottom of it that won't let the clamp slide down far enough...I got in in from UPS Friday I tried mounting it...wouldn't work it has 1 scratch on it....would like to get $130 shipped or Trade for Billet Parts...Pipe Hangers,Pipe Clamps,stuff along that line or If you have a Billet Stator cover you would give up I will give you this plus some cash..let me know and heres the part!   20. a powerband is usually assorted into colors with a bright red being the strongest upon putting this bright red powerband in your banshee motor and running it,one will see many different colors as he accelerates through the gears...brown and possibly yellow are the most typical, assuming you have eaten corn in the past week being the brown color you will see is from the outrageous shit you just took in your pants as you did hit that bright red powerband and the front will jerked off the ground and eyes got blurry...... hope this helps....
  21. alright i got it up and going lastnight I sent DAJ a pm and he got back to me said i would probably be a 152 main and 48 pilot..i didnt change the jets that were in it which are...140 main 42 pilot and MJN needle middle clip..i fired it up the left plug was pukin on me but the right side pipe got hot fast so its lean over there... pulled the plug and it wet and clear then I had a carb start to overflow so i have to adjust my floats.....i still need to do some tweakin this evening but i sent the wife and buddy (whom by the way get this wonderful friday off work) to get jets which are...MAINS 148,150,152 and 48 pilots...so hopefully I can get this thing jetted in with what I am getiing...sound right? oh I already have Pilots 40,42,45,50
  22. yeah i have all the pilots i could ever need but the mains are hit and miss around here..I usually get my jets from dennis kirk also..lol but i need the mains either today or tomorrow gotta do some tuning when i get home from work hopefully i should get it about where i need and ill chime back in here.....

  24. just done this lastnight haha..i just snug mine up the first go around i started to torque and snap...thank god for easy outs and dewalt drill bits....
