Hey guys. hows it going? Well lately ive been thinking lately about keeping my banshee or not. I dont really need the money and if i did sell it the cash would go into my 450. it is just sitting in a corner at my dads with no back tires and pipes or anything. kind of a sad thing to see. i dont know what to do. i dont want to sell it because I know i will end up buying another one sooner or later but then again i dont know when i will be able to fix this one. sucks in my opinion. i felt like sleeping. the gncs were good and the supermoto but thats it. only thing that kicked ass was the music. if you guys want to see a sweet vid watch the fallout by akraix. best movie i have ever seen

if you guys went from riding a banshee to riding a yfz or any other 450 for mx you guys would understand what its all about. 450s are awesome on a mx track. with my banshee i would run 5 laps on my track and get arm pump like crazy now with my 450 its around 20 laps before i get arm pump. dont call something gay until you have experienced what it is like compared to something else.

what exactly is going on down in the states?

thanks guys. the problem with the quad is that when i hit about mid throttle it feels like someone is turning the key on and off and no power is being put to the ground. i cant even spin the tires in first gear in loose sand if it was working fine im sure i would of been pulling holeshots

ya man. i think I could of probably got a first in my first moto if i could have got the holeshot. my quad is getting fixed before my next race though

Hey guys. Well yesterday I headed out to a town about an hour and a half away from me called raymond. Just started going there and it was pooring all the way there. So I get there and go and sign in and decide if i want to practice or not(only practices ran on sat)So i decided not to. So as I sat there all day waiting to go to the Bed and breakfast we were staying at I kept getting more nervous. So Sunday finally shows up and what do you know. Its beautiful out. Well i get to the track at 7:30 in the morning for the riders meeting and practice. My class was the first to practice after the riders meeting. Well here I am standing outside freezing in only my riding gear waiting for this meeting to start. Well finally it starts and then when its finished i go get my quad and go to the starting gate. by this time I am freezing and cant feel my hands or toes. So we are all sitting at the starting gate and what do we have to do. wait some more. they were getting all the flaggers in position and we are all just sititng there freezing our butts off. Well practice begins and I almost ate it a couple of times and such because of deep square ruts. After I got to my truck I was so cold I couldnt hold onto my bars anymore. Well anyways a couple hours go by and its time for my 1st moto. Well the gate drops and whos the last one to leave the gate? ME. My quad cuts out and I cant spin the tires so I cant pull a holeshot. Well I finally get going and come into the first corner about 4th I think. I stomp on it and end up passing the next 2 guys in front of me. There was 7 guys in my class also. So here I am in 2nd and I start cathing up to the first place guy. About the 3rd lap of 4 I began to get tired and slow down a bit but I was still a ton ahead of the 3rd place guy. The moto finishes and I get 2nd. Well go back to the truck and wait for another 4 hours and finally my 2nd moto is coming up. Go up and the gate drops. whos last again? ME. This time I wasnt so lucky. I was about last coming into the first corner. I ended up passing 2 people by the 4th corner and was in 3rd. So the two guys in front of me were buddies and were racing nerfs together pretty much. They kept bumping and such. So i sat in third until the 2nd lap where they made their mistake. they hit eachother in some ruts which pretty much stopped the one guy and the other guy had his bead pop off his tire. So I make my move and pass both of them and end up in 1st. For the rest of the laps I looked back a couple of times but it was just pretty much cruise conrtol because the guy I was ahead of was the third place finisher in the 1st moto and was ahead of him by a fare bit. So in the end I got 2nd in my 1st moto and 1st in my 2nd moto which gave me a 1st overall for the weekend. I have about 10 mins of some vid that I will make a movie out of and post up tomorrow. Well sorry for the book but had to let you guys know about my weekend. Thanks for reading BFS

ive always wondered about your hybird myself too. thing looks good and by the sounds of it is better then a 450. do you still have the banshee then too? also how does it ride compared to a 450?

thanks for the replies guys. the banshee is still sititng in a corner im just waiting for a call so i can bring it to the guy thats going to fix it for me. hopefully by the end of summer shell be up and running again. do any of you guys remember me talking about a crash? well when i did it i bent my steering stem on my yfz. pulled it out today to put a new one in and holy shit is that thing ever bent. it must of hit pretty hard. I will post some pics up of that when i get back from riding. anyways thanks again guys BFS

I know this should be in another forum but im putting it here because i need the answer pretty quick. my question is will nerfs on my 97 shee fit onto an 03?i have a buddy that might be buying them as i dont need them anymore and he said the part number from 87-99 is diff from the 2000-2006 one.
