  1. I will take the stock kick starter for $30. PM me your paypal.
  2. Any pictures of the airbox?
  3. Pictures of the airbox and lid? Didn't see any in the other thread, but maybe I missed them.
  4. PM sent about airbox.
  5. Looking for a stock airbox w/lid, with no holes in the box or lib. Don't need an air filter. Have any pictures?
  6. Got the stator and it works great. Appears to be a little grinding on the pickup to clear the tabs on the flywheel, not sure if that is like that from the factory but either way it works good. Now i have to get it jetted right.
  7. PM sent on the stator w/ timing plate.
  8. 2nd in most situations. 3rd sometimes when messing around. I need to slip the clutch alot when I start in 3rd.
  9. I always think everyone one here is running to rich, except for the guys with ported motors. In WI with K&N filter in airbox with 8 - 1 in holes in airbox lid and no snorkel. Also have boysen reeds and old fmf fatties and .020 over with stock jugs. I run 210 on the main and I think the 3rd clip on the needle. Never had any problems and plugs are always perfect. Maybe my shee just likes to run lean.
  10. Well I got TCS zero preload shocks just before the price went up about three or four years ago. I got them for $650 at the time. Let me say that I am not to impressed with the build quality/materials of these compared to today's shocks. The ride quality and suspesion chariteristics are great though. The shocks TCS builds today are much better, but they also cost more. The ones I have are the black lower spring and the gold upper spring. They sag about 3-4 inches is my guess. How far it sags depends on how many spacers are in the top of the shock under the gold spring. I had them set for 160lbs and they will not bottom out when going off big jumps. The zero preload shocks do give a rough ride when trail riding and when going slow. Only get them if it is for racing. I would buy a newer set of TCS shocks myself when I get a new quad.
  11. I raced about 3 times at byron. Now that I done with school (will have more money) I hope to do more racing this summer.
  12. Does this look like a good deal or not???? I think it is, so I might have to buy one. Anybody have one of these? Do you like it? Ebay Link to LSR Steering Stem
  13. Yeah that is what I am worried about. I got new carbs so they would stop sticking when they got wet. Now if they get to wet the water will be a problem within the intake. I guess I will see how it works.
  14. I got pissed at the stock airbox while trying to install my new 28mm pwk's. I had to run reed spacers so the carbs would clear the clutch arm making it a bitch to get the airbox on. I ended up breaking the airbox in the cold wisconsin weather. Then tried a few other ways to get the airbox on till I finally kicked it and really broke it. I then went inside and orders 2 uni pods for it. I also ordered some delta 2's for good measure. Good bye to that stinking airbox. I hope the pods make it easier to work on and makes changing the jets easier.
  15. I just changed out the summer air for winter air, in my tires, and my shee rips once again.
  16. Watch out on the mx course. I was racing mx at byron IL in the B class and remember a blaster flying past me on a rocky uphill. This thing had aftermarket everything, even the frame. Now let me explain how I got passed. We were running a five lap race and this was my first race their and also of the year. These aren't those 300yd laps either. I would say one lap is over 1 mile. I was in-front of him up until the last lap. By the last lap my thumb was so tired I could barely push the throttle and that is when he passed me on the uphill. Now before you start making fun of me think of how many mx races you have done on a shee, not the easiest machine to mx race. He did finish that moto in the top 7 out of 20 guys. Also I did beat him in the following moto and also did better overall.
  17. Yes I have the cable that came with the tors. Thanks for the info.
  18. I just got my new keihin 28 pwk's in the mail and they didn't come with the throttle cable like they said they were going to, typical ebay auction. I am still working on getting that from the guy. Since I my shee is 200 miles away I don't know if the stock thumb throttle cable will work. Will I have to get a new cable for the pwk's, if so what does anyone have the part number for that cable?
  19. I have a -2 swingarm and have 18x10 inch turf-tamers and have plenty of traction. The turf-tamers are cheaper also. I noticed that most of the pros these days are running holeshots so I am going to try those out for my next set of tires. Since you are doing mx make sure you get an 18" tire.
  20. I was wondering who the hell sent him that. This is to much.
  21. I had the same problem. The left cylinder would just cut out and then turn back on. Let me tell you it really sucks when leading a race while going off a jump. My problem was electrical. The 4 pin connector off the stator had some bad connections, and would hold water. Which makes sense because it would run bad real bad when it would get wet. Cut it off and put 4 butt connectors on and it works great now. So I think you have an electrical problem because mine was excatlly the same, only the left cylinder wouldn't run sometimes, the right one would always fire. I suggest checking all connections and replace if necessary. After that check the other electrical components.
  22. Well I am tired of the stock carbs sticking when a bead of sweat drips on them, so I am looking for new carbs. I was thinking about a 2-1 intake, but I read some of the posts around here and they said they didn't make that much more bottom end and the top end suffered, so I am not sure if I want it. Also I am looking for new reed cages. Right now my motor is only piped with airbox mods but I want to have a sutiable intake for when I get it ported. I mainly do mx racing. Now to the questions: 1. Any ideas on what carbs I should get? 28pwk's or 35 PJ's or a 2-1 setup? 2. For reeds, I was thinking the vforce delta 2's, but then I saw they have vforce 3's. What is the difference between the two? Is one better than the other? 3. Anybody know of a place with good deals on these parts?
