  11. ok guys heres the deal i decided to get some t5;s i got them for 250 bucks with the silencers good shape no dents ok here are my mods +2 timing key bored stock carbs +2 mm K&N clamp on 6 inch long with outer wares stock porting. what i need to know is what would be a good place to start with jetting what pilot and how many turns on the air screw and what postion for the needle and what size main to start with. i live in northern michigan and the temp here to day was 55 degrees. i want to put the pipes on tomorrow so any help would greatly be apprecated thanks in advance!~ i have pc pipes now and the jetting is 340 mains and the pilot is a 35 i turn out on the air screw and needle 3rd clip down from the top~ how far am i off with what i have? andy F.T.R #311
  12. ok first off i want to know what i did wrong with the mods i did, first off i have the stock carbs that have been bored 2mm oversized with k@n clamp ones, i have pc pipes, jetting is 35 pilot and needle in 3rd clip and 340 mains plugs look good, also i have a +2 timmig degree key and the motor has prolites .5mm over no porting! gearing is 15 41 ok my buddy has toomey t5,s and he has v force and i know that it is bored 40 over kn clamp ons. now what i dont know is if he is ported becasue he bought it this way. from what i have said do you guys know why he is beating me on the road? i have a custom nos system but i only use it in the sand i thought that i would be able to take him on motor. but i guess not. from what i said up top is there anything wrong with my set up? and if you could help me out i would greatly appreciate it and also if i want to port my motor who would be the best to do the work? and if the piipes are junk i would like to know that too when i got the bike it had the pc on so i left them what about rockets? would the t5,s make that much difrence against the pc pipes? thanks in advance! andy F.T.R location michigan #311
  13. well i hae a nos system on my bike sounds alot like what i have i ended up making a center pipe between the carb and the air filter and it works fine also if ya wana know more pm me and i will give ya my number all i can say is it took 3 days after it was all said and done pretty exstensive prject but i cant complain after it was all said and done jetted for 30 hp its nuts and it runs on full throttle switch i would highly recomend this also and with an arming switch i have pics too so pm me and i will give ya my number i can even fab the parts and send them to ya we are thinking about a pattent on this so we will see what happens. andy F.T.R #311
  14. the reason for the 2 solinodes is one is a nos purge and one actually shoots the nitrous and the other is a fuel solinoid it is a wet kit not a dry kit we actually found out that the thing is jeted for 30 hp so its pretty crazzy i will tell this ill keep you guys posted on whats up later andy. 15. Check out my gallery, there are a couple pics up, more tomorrow after some test & tuning.. the installation took like 23 hours and we made all the brackets and nozzle mounts ourselves. The whole system run on two 7.2v battery packs. The purge setup is kick ass, its amazing what you can do with some fittings and brake line. If there is anyone interested in getting a parts list and maybe buying the brackets and nozzle mounts please email me and I will be happy to talk it over wiith you. We estimate the total kit to cost around $575 if you peice it together and install it yourself. We came across a used kit off a open mod sled for cheap, and made all the bracketry from scratch, and a piece of exhaust piping. This is a prototype setup, the finished product will look better (polished aluminum nozzle mounts and bottle mounts, silicone connectors between the carb and nozzle mounts, etc).
